world peace
I agree but then this could cause something similar to the Star Wars Saga philosophy. Two massive groups fight over control of space, and two different ideologies on how to control it. Hence the whole, "Galactic Empire and Republic" thing. Then there would also probably be those who want to keep humanity from expanding into space, and try everything possible to limit space exploration. Then there would be extremists who believe that only a certain race or group should be able to explore space, and they'd probably try to abandon the other races on Earth. Even if some sort of massive alien invasion occurred, there would probably be fighting on how to deal with the invasion. Some would see the invasion as an act of greatness, some would see it as an act of hostility, some would probably worship the invasion. Comparing this to Star Wars space exploration is on a massive scale, but there is still war on a massive scale between everyone. Based on human activity throughout the course of history, I don't suspect this would be any different.

I only saw bits and pieces of it, I missed it as well. I won't say anything to spoil it for you, but I will say that it was awesome. I need to watch it again too.

Modern Conservatism
Conservatives are in favor of traditional American values. Just some of these values are an efficient education system, a strong military, traditional American rights, and American isolationism; as our founding fathers' believed in. We believe in the working middle class with minimal government assistance when absolutely necessary. Anyone that believes Conservatives value anything different are simply blinded by the mainstream Liberal media. Liberals haven't really done much to help America. I can easily provide two examples of the brilliant work of Liberalism: President Barack Obama, with an outstanding approval rating of 49%. Then there's also the beautiful, Liberal controlled, city of Detroit. Other than that, I won't be participating in this topic. I can already forsee it's inevitable demise, and myself receiving a warning point.

The WWE Thread that totally reeks of awesomeness
I do agree. The Undertaker did seem a bit slow paced during the match, probably because he's like 55 lol. Either way I was still excited to see some old school moves of the Undertaker, I only wish they would have done it at night. The entrance would have been 10x better. I was as well. I'm honestly just glad that Roman Reigns didn't get the title. I think he's a bit cheesy. Speaking of cheesy, this brings me to John Cena. While I respect the hell out of what John Cena stands for and represents, I think the WWE is trying to shove him down our throats. I'm just glad the Russian Rusev is probably gone for a while. Unfortunatly I missed Wrestlemania, I had to look at YouTube videos LOL.

The WWE Thread that totally reeks of awesomeness
If anyone is interesting in WWE, what did you all think of Wrestlemania? We had the return of the Undertaker, HHH vs Sting, and Seth Rollins is the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion! I personally loved the Undertaker vs Bray Wyatt. The Undertaker has still got it, and hopefully we get to see him once more before he officially disappears. He's getting up there in age, but he's still got it. We also had John Cena vs Rusev for the United States championship. John Cena faithfully brought the title back to where it belongs! By the way, if you don't watch WWE please don't bring bull shit to this topic like, "Oh WWE is fake, it's boring. Oh WWE isn't real acting it's dull. Oh WWE was so much better 20 years ago".

Civil disobedience
Doesn't really matter if you're civil or not. If you break the law, expect to face the consequences. If I civilly stand in the middle of the street, I'm probably going to get hit.

Love your American patrol videos DoubleDoppler, outstanding! :) As far as his video goes, I actually laughed at how unfunny it was. I guess that was where the humor is supposed to take its tole. I'll post it on my Facebook page but no promises of recognition.

Should prostitution be Legal?
Again I will say, reading comprehension is an important skill to have; and now it's proven that it's also important to have on the internet. As Hystery said, I was referring to those that willingly decide to post up on the corner of 77th, and give away their bodies to random strangers. A whore is a prostitute, it's the dictionary definition. I'm only calling them what they are. I would suggest you make sure you are fully comprehending what you're reading before calling someone ignorant. I notice you do this a lot here on LCPDFR. You call someone ignorant, but then it's clear that you don't entirely understand what you're even reading. Just a friendly suggestion.

Common LAPD Police Vehicles
I can vouch for this, though I don't live in LA. Before I moved to Baltimore, which a lot of the vehicles here appear to be Impalas, I lived in the state of Virginia. The cars were either Ford Taurus or Ford Explorer. Occasionally there'd be an undercover Ford Fusion.

Should prostitution be Legal?
You just aren't looking at the simplicity of the situation. You're thinking too hard on this when the majority of prostitutes won't even acknowledge the fact that laws exist. I'm trying to get you to understand that just because there's a law, doesn't mean that it will be followed. We have enough broken regulations and laws in the US, we don't need anymore. If the option appears in a poll the next time I vote, I'm voting against it; and I think it's safe to say that a vast majority of America will do so as well.

Should prostitution be Legal?
Because prostitutes aren't going to pay taxes. You seem to be disregarding this simple fact. They aren't going to pay TAXES. They just aren't. Why should they? Easily thousands of prostitutes a day successfully make money. Paying taxes removes a portions of this money. People seem to keep thinking that prostitution is some sort of job out here in the market. It's not a job, it's a quick and easy way for whores to make money, and that's all they want to do. It won't be legal for a while, and should remain so. There isn't any immediate significant reason for anything to chane right now. There will always be human trafficking and rape and abuse and kidnapping. Edit: Sorry for my bad English. The iPhones autocorrect is absolutely brilliant.

You could go to where the office is when you start LCPDFR.

Should prostitution be Legal?
But prostitutes would be required to pay taxes. Everything fails and disappears after that point. Plus, im sure the prostitutes would be required to pay some sort of recurring fee for a prostitution license. If I were a prostitute, I'd completely neglect that sort of system and continue to do street sales.

Indiana Passes Religious Freedom Bill SB 101
I partially agree. According to the Christian faith, God asks that Christians only educate those about Christianity that choose to accept it. God says to spread the word of Christianity, make it known to the general public. Whether or not people accept the Christian belief is entirely their decision, and we are not permitted to try and force Christianity on said people. I think parents should be able to teach their children whatever religion or beliefs they want. You can't control what a parent teaches their children, and thus it will remain so. If I have a child, I am going to educate them about Christianity. Why? Because that's my child, and I can educate them about whatever religion I want under US federal law. The right to religious freedom. I'm not sure about any other country, so it may be different in France. However in the United States, I have every right to do so, and it should remain that way. If my child decides to become an atheist, even after all I've taught them, then that's their decision.

Should prostitution be Legal?
You're taking all the words out of my mouth. So rather than repeat the same thing, I'll just like your responses if I agree. I've never heard of a prostitute being happy and enthusiastic about being a prostitute. From my personal experience, prostitutes really don't want to be prostitutes. Sometimes these women have children, family, people they need to take care of. They're willing to do anything they can to help those people, and sometimes prostitution is the decision they make. Legalizing it, as Hystery said, causes more problems than it solves.

Should prostitution be Legal?
From how I see it, legalizing prostitution will only create a broken and neglected system. I'd just rather law enforcement continue to deal with it as an everyday crime. What people are assuming here is that prostitutes and pimps are going to just abide by the law. Legalizing it in Nevada or whatever certainly didn't have any significant impact, otherwise we'd all be aware of it. I've heard nothing of it, nor was I aware of the fact that it is legal. Probably because prostitutes are doing what I said. Continuing to do what they've always done.

Should prostitution be Legal?
Well I actually disagree with just about everything you've said here. First point. Prostitutes care about their body. To me, caring about my body isn't letting some horny creeper handle it any kind of way for a quick buck. We're so worried about whether or not the prostitute has some sort of STD or STI, what about the customer? Prostitution isn't as beautiful as it may seem here discussing. Sometimes it's a 20 year old woman and a 60 year old man. That's disgusting. The human body is a beautiful, unique, intelligent, brilliant piece of art. It deserves to be treated as so, and letting random people screw it isn't the right way to go. So no, they don't really care about their body. They're just desperate for cash. LOL, this one is very funny. If I'm a whore, you expect me to abandon my pimp that I've known for 5 years to follow some law passed by the government? Hell to the no. If I'm a prostitute, I'm going to remain with my pimp, take anyone that is willing to pay, and do what I have to do to make money. Knowing the US government, the license will be accompanied by some sort of recurring fee. I'm not going to pay for a license, when my goal is to make money. That doesn't make any sense, and prostitutes won't go for it. I'm just going to do what I've been doing and hope for the best, while still making money. It's basic street knowledge.

Should prostitution be Legal?
....Because prostitutes want sex for money. It doesn't take substantial evidence or proof to support this claim. I'll go ahead and give you a blunt example of two different typical perspectives, based on what I've seen, heard, and common sense: Example 1: I'm a man, and I'm horny. I decide that finding a prostitute would be the best plan of action. I get into my, or someones, car and look for a prostitute. I see one standing on the side of the road. I drive to her, briefly talk, and pick her up. We go somewhere secluded and I handle my business right then and there in the car. I pay her whatever amount we previously discussed, she gets out, and that's that. No process, no law, no guidelines, absolutely nothing. I wanted sex, and thats what I went after. Blunt sex for money. Why should I make the effort to follow legal guidelines when I have a 90% chance of succeeding in prostitution anyways? Example 2: I am a whore. I'm posted up on the corner of 77th, looking for potential customers. A car pulls up to me, we briefly discuss a few things, and I hop in. Again, we go to a secluded area and handle business. I get paid, and I'm off. No law, no guidelines, no rules. Absolutely nothing. Why? Because I don't care. All I want is the money, and I'm not going to get a license, which I'd probably have to pay some sort of fee for, just to lose money that I would have gotten without the license. Prostitutes don't give a crap. They want sex for money, that's it. They don't care about any systems or guidelines. It's like trying to regulate a 4 year old on which toy to play with on which day. The kid doesn't give a shit, he just wants to play with his damned toys. Edit: You're thinking too hard on this. They don't give a shit, and I say that because it's true. When you're able to find me a prostitute that gives a damn about the law, let me know.

Should prostitution be Legal?
Makes sense, but let's be realistic here, Hastings. Prostitutes probably don't care about that. All they want to do is fuck for money. That's it. I think it's safe to say that they won't have the patience to deal with a bunch of systems and legalizations. They're just gonna hop in a car to make some money. I've never heard of anyone being a prostitute because they enjoy prostituting. I've only heard of people prostituting because they need to make money.

Should prostitution be Legal?
I'm saying that enforcing and monitoring legalized prostitution doesn't seem realistic. I don't think people are going to play by the "rules" of prostitution, persè, unless they receive some sort of complimentary. Otherwise they'll just continue doing what they've always done, which is break the law regardless. What I'm trying to figure out here is HOW prostitutions can be monitored. I'm not understanding this process that you are proposing. How would anyone keep track of prostitution? It's not like you go to the store and buy your own personal whore, then it's kept on file. A lot of prostitutes take post on the street corner and go from there. How can you monitor that? I just don't understand what you're saying when you say it would require a license. Even when I read back it still doesn't come together. I'd like an explanation on HOW prostitution can be monitored successfully. If a girl wants to prostitute, most likely she's just gonna ignore all rules and regulations and hop in the first car that stops.
