What are your pet peeves?
Holy crap, I do the same thing. Every day I'd walk past my bed and hit my ankle on the sharp corner and scrape it. Now I know to avoid it but when other people come over they hit their knee, and I get to laugh at them.

What are your pet peeves?
We've all got things in life that annoy the shit out of us. These annoyances can range from someone tapping the butt of their pen on a table, to people using the incorrect "there" or "your". While they may seem like harmless and minor annoyances to most, there is a small minority that'll go insane over them. We call these annoyances, pet peeves. What are some of your pet peeves? Here's a link of the top pet peeves. http://www.collegehumor.com/toplist/6754891/the-biggest-pet-peeves

Or you can teach your child not to make a certain mistake, and explain them the consequences of making said mistake, so that they don't make said mistake to begin with.

"Realistic" Vehicle Damage/Deformation mod was released today
Nice! I'm glad that the damage isn't as severe as it was in GTA 4 for me. I'd lightly rear-end someone and the entire front of my vehicle would be busted in and smoking, with fire coming out of the sides.

The cake is a lie, there is only pie. Through pie I gain calories. Through calories, I gain fat. My belt shall be broken. The recliner shall free me.

Police copter with siren
...Nope. Didn't hear a single siren the entirety of the video; and my speakers seem to be working optimally. Is it a long stretched out tone? I'm not even sure what I'm actually listening for, does it sound like a regular siren?

I didn't hear any sirens.

Rockstars saying about mods in Singleplayer.
"We are prepared to work with the LCPDFR Development Team in releasing an outstanding law enforcement/policing modification, limited to Grand Theft Auto V's singleplayer." Guess we'll just keep dreaming, lol.

Rockstars saying about mods in Singleplayer.
I had my fingers crossed of the 0.00001% chance that Rockstar says, "We are willing to work with the LCPDFR Development team". Ah well.

Mother calls cops on 10 year old boy to straighten him out
I just wanted to comment on this. I think that most people feel worried when they see police, because usually when the police show up - Someone is going to jail. You very rarely ever see the police show up to tell you something good. This may be the reason why most people grow worried when police show up, because they fear that they've done something wrong and may be going to jail. I personally feel safe and comfortable when I see police, especially if I know for a fact that I didn't do anything wrong, illegal, or suspicious.

Beyond Scared Straight (Do you agree?)
I said that I don't support bad parents sending their children to the military as a last resort. I have nothing against an actual military or military based school. Also, the purpose is to scare them. It's to teach them that if they go about breaking the law, they'll end up in the same cell as someone that murdered people. Plus if you had watched the entire video, most of the prisoners weren't just yelling in their faces. The prisoners were teaching them valuable life lessons. The hostilities the kids received was reinforcing the idea of " hey, you really don't want to be here". I see nothing wrong with this program, even if it is scripted. It changes people's lives and I think it should continue ten fold. This program gives some of these bad kids a wake up call to reality, and that's the most important thing.

Mother calls cops on 10 year old boy to straighten him out
While I do understand your point, I still fail to see any severe problem with dispatching an officer or two to simulate an arrest. If the parent requests it, and the officers agree to it, then why not? Simulating a police detainment and arrest can show an insubordinate child what could happen if they continue their bad behavior. It's been shown on COPS several times, and it's always worked. We've witnessed small families become reunited over a police intervention and simulation. In the United States, police aren't limited to responding when a crime is committed. Police can respond to anything, really. Their job is to keep the peace, not specifically to arrest law breakers. Arresting law breakers is a part of keeping the peace, and if simulating an arrest helps keep the peace, then Godspeed to it and I'm sure the officers won't have any issue doing it.

Beyond Scared Straight (Do you agree?)
While I do understand what you're saying, I don't think they should be sent to the military. The military isn't some backup plan for a mother and fathers piss poor parenting job. You couldn't raise your children correctly, so you send them to the military? Not sure about other countries, but the military is entirely volunteer. No one was held at gunpoint under the law and forced to join with a consequence of jail if they refused. Maybe back then, but not today. If your insubordinate child refuses to join the military, then what? Are you going to send them off without their permission? That's not exactly legal, and I don't think many people would appreciate it.

Beyond Scared Straight (Do you agree?)
Beyond Scared Straight is a TV series where children with severe behavioral problems are taken to a jailing facility, and forced to live like a prisoner. They are treated like prisoners, they experience prison life, and they also get chewed out by current prisoners of the facility. The inmates do agree to act and fake the entire situation, but the show is not a scripted show. How do you all feel about this program? Parents that feel their children are insubordinate are able to send their children to this program, and this is what happens. Here is a short video of some of the wildest moments on the show:

I can also agree that while I do enjoy the new look of the website, It is noticeably harder to navigate and find particular things. Where as before I knew where everything was, and how I needed to get there.

Mother calls cops on 10 year old boy to straighten him out
As far as in the United States, yes. I've seen it on COPS several times, and it can essentially divert a family tragedy. If calling the police on your children can prevent your children from doing something drastic, then by all means I don't see why law enforcement wouldn't, help.

Probably just another case of "Getting bitches". Father probably screwed her and left, like a lot of bad fathers do.

British grandmother prepares for execution in Indonesia
Now, do you guys think this execution will have some sort of negative effect on the British population? Generally, are people in the UK fighting against this execution or do people not really care? According to this article, the British Government has refused to provide any financial aid to the Indonesian Government to recourse the executions. Do you think the government should be more involved or is this a simple, "oh well" type of situation?

British grandmother prepares for execution in Indonesia
I don't have a clue about any of this, but I'm curious to hear what those of you from the UK have to say about this. I'll copy and paste the general setup of the article, and state how I feel about it below. A British grandmother on death row in Indonesia is writing goodbye letters to her family and believes she could be executed at any time, she wrote in an article on Sunday. Related StoriesIndonesian executions spark international anger AFPIndonesia informs death row convicts execution just days away ReutersIndonesia gears up for executions despite mounting criticism AFPIndonesia confirms it executed 8 for drug smuggling Associated PressIndonesia executes foreign drug convicts, defying global anger AFPLindsay Sandiford, 58, said she was expecting to die shortly, after seven foreign drug convicts were executed last week, causing a storm of international protest. "My execution is imminent and I know I might die at any time now. I could be taken tomorrow from my cell," Sandiford wrote in British newspaper the Mail on Sunday. "I have started to write goodbye letters to members of my family." Sandiford, originally from Redcar in northeast England, wrote that she planned to sing the cheery popular song "Magic Moments" when facing the firing squad. "I won't wear a blindfold. It's not because I'm brave but because I don't want to hide -- I want them to look at me when they shoot me." She said her greatest sadness is that she may never meet her two-year-old granddaughter, who was born after her arrest. Sandiford was sentenced to death on the island of Bali in 2013 after she was convicted of trafficking drugs. Customs officers found cocaine worth an estimated £1.6 million ($2.4 million, 2.2 million euros) hidden in a false bottom in Sandiford's suitcase when she arrived in Bali on a flight from Thailand in 2012. Sandiford admitted the offences, but says that she agreed to carry the drugs after a drug syndicate threatened to kill her son. My opinion: I don't really know much about the situation other than what was stated in this article, but looking at this from a sentimental point of view, I feel immense sorrow for this woman. I think it's terrible that she's to get firing squad, absolutely terrible. To me, it doesn't make sense for her to come into the country with drugs, so I actually believe in her story of being forced. I'll put the link below. http://news.yahoo.com/british-grandmother-prepares-execution-indonesia-215015360.html
