  1. *sigh* With this statement, I'm saying that while I think what you're doing is stupid, you have every right under the law to do it, and I'm willing to defend that right with my life (Hence the whole Marine Corps thing). In the military, we don't get to pick and choose who we want to defend and protect. The fact that I believe your actions are stupid is irrelevant. If it's legal, you have every right to be doing it.
  2. Maybe to someone who isn't able to properly comprehend the statement, then it would be considered hypocritical by said person. Not saying that you're incorrect, but do you mind elaborating on how this is true?
  3. Sure, at that point you can do whatever the hell you want, even if it's dumb as hell. I just don't want to see any of it. I shouldn't have to put effort into trying to hide from prostitution.
  4. One of the very few things we agree on. I may not agree with your right to be stupid, but I'll defend that right with my life.
  5. It shouldn't be legal on the street. Sex in a car for money is absolutely disgusting. I can't even imagine walking down the street, and seeing people have sex in a car down an alley, and it be legal.
  6. I'd rather not see a disgusting STD infected whore on the side of the road preaching sex and drugs to my children... no thanks.
  7. I did not know this either. I had no clue that American politics actually have a significant impact on the world. Thanks for the heads up, good man. I somewhat agree with this. Throughout history, Jewish people have always been prosecuted. It's understandable that the Jewish community constantly feels victimized, but it does become quite annoying when they consistently use that as an excuse for their actions. Though absolute peace in the Israeli area just doesn't seem realistic, to be honest.
  8. And also looking at the situation from a more mental perspective than a political one, the Jews clearly aren't willing to become victims of another genocide. They've proven that they're willing to do what's necessary to ensure their immediate safety and tranquility, with or without the aid of the United States. 9. Trade and diplomatic relations are sometimes a good thing. Small correction there, but otherwise almost correct! Last time the US tried to remain isolated, we were dragged into involvement. (i.e WW1, WW2).
  10. I thought George Washington believed in isolationism? That's what the US should do. Just recall all troops and close its borders.
  11. Ah okay. I think I can sleep a little better tonight knowing this. Thanks or the info! :)
  12. Do these elections have some sort of significant impact on our every-day lives? If not, I don't really have any thoughts on the elections because in that case, I don't care. Can someone please explain why these elections even matter to anyone not in the Israeli geographical area?
  13. Regardless of the circumstances you should NEVER feel sexually uncomfortable around a school teacher. Even if you have no solid proof or evidence, report it to your parents and school counselor or administrator. Tell them that you feel very uncomfortable at the way this teacher has been acting, and if they could stay in touch with yu in the meantime. If he touches you at ALL, report it immediately. But in order for it to hold water, you will have needed to initially report that yu feel uncomfortable around him. Edit: And honestly, something else you could do is talk to the teacher himself. Tell him how you feel in a respectful, kind manner. Tell him that you feel he can be very inappropriate at times and that you would appreciate it if he could try to work on being appropriate. Seriously, you could talk to him yourself. Maybe send him an email, pull him away from the rest of the class for a minute, even request to talk to him with your counselor present, after you've explained the situation to your counselor.
  14. Talk to your parents and report this to the Police with their supervision. Then have the Police come up to the school and let them investigate further and get the issue resolved. Seriously.
  15. I think the phrase is senseless. If I see you as a threat, I'm going to shoot whether your hands are up or not.
  16. I also heard that the plane in Pennsylvania was actually shot down by the military. Anyone got insight on this?
  17. I just don't understand what your point is with this evidence. This doesn't prove anything..
  18. There is no need for you to apologize. However, when I see these topics, I am forced to relive the memories of that day. They are painful, and they are, unfortunately, a part of my life. With all due respect, it is not the part of participating in a heated discussion that is my particular problem. It is rather that, I must relive the memories of that day every time I see these topics, and I would rather have these conspiracies closed. Instead of discussing what may have been, why continue to go back to looking at the same point in the past? It's like repeating history, still to no avail. As a collective, international community, I believe we should be able to move on from this event and the painful memories it brings, and look toward a brighter future. A future where, when we look back, we can take the time to give the lives of the heroic people the respect they deserve, as well as remember the two shining twins. Thank you. I wasn't saying that at all. I was just stating that these political debate topics only go wrong because people here aren't mature enough to participate. I agree with you though, it is highly offensive, but you can't expect everyone to have common sense, you know?
  19. Now if you don't mind me asking, what exactly are the guidelines and protocol for determining whether or not taking action is necessary?
  20. But do other people? Question of the day.
  21. It's really the people that are the problem, not the topic. Some people just can't handle participating in a heated discussion, of course those people are going to claim that they aren't the problem and point fingers. I can say that I'm one of those people, but will anyone else? Probably not.
  22. I still don't quite understand what the hell is happening, but ignorance is a bliss. Protestors are apparently torching police vehicles and throwing stones at officers. Police say they've detained approximately 350 protesters, but said the majority of protesters were peaceful. Protesters were demonstrating against the recent government austerity policies. Reports also show that 14 officers were injured during the clashes between police and protesters. About 80 suffered from contact with some sort of irritating liquid or gas. The violence quickly ended with more than 10,000 people peacefully protesting. http://news.yahoo.com/police-barricade-european-central-bank-ahead-protests-050250123.html
  23. Can't really blame them. The US government isn't necessarily the most.. popular, persé, of organizations. Worldwide on that matter.
  24. Confirmed. Our family lost our house during this time, and so did everyone else on the block. We paid $1M for that house too :(. I guess all good things must comes an end.
