ELS has nothing to do with LSPDFR and does not use the API. ELS works fine with LSPDFR 0.4, but some car mods or gameconfig.xml changes could potentially cause issues.

You should be able to choose between all different hair styles available in the base game and any DLC. Double check to make sure you are selecting through them all.

Obviously we want everyone to be focused on 0.4, so this isn't something we will support officially. Nonetheless, I'd rather you get the files from us than have to go searching somewhere else, so I've attached the files for 0.3.1 below. LSPDFR 031 Manual Install.zip

If you're having issues with texture loss while using LSPDFR and other mods (mainly modded vehicles), you can try the following: Set Main.PreloadAllModels to false in the lspdfr.ini file. More information on how to do this can be found here: https://www.lcpdfr.com/wiki/lspdfr/04/features/settings/

I understand that, but I think it is particularly disappointing and frankly, disrespectful, when other developers are involved. Calling us out on twitter and saying that it'd make too much sense for us to keep our dependencies updated, when in actual fact we have good reason (and there are easily solutions available) as @LMS explained above, is ignorant and disrespectful. We are happy to make fixes where necessary. We have already committed to a fairly substantial API update to leverage the new features in LSPDFR 0.4, and we're here only a day after release answering questions and offering solutions.

I just want to note as well that it'd be a lot better if we could use topics like this on the forums to report development related issues and ask us questions, rather than making uninformed, salty comments on twitter, discord, or wherever else. If you think there's an issue with something, just let us know about it here.

Please read through the documentation: https://www.lcpdfr.com/wiki/lspdfr/04/features/characters/ If you want to have different uniforms and stuff, that's where the new powerful customization features come into play. We have an entire section dedicated to all of the different things that can be customized: - https://www.lcpdfr.com/wiki/lspdfr/04/modding/doc/ By default, LSPDFR is designed to work with the default game. It is meant to work for everyone, not just people with 20 different mods installed.

We said it was big, and we said it was different, but I honestly don't think any of us quite imagined just how big and different it would turn out to be, nor how much of a challenge it would be to take the concepts and ideas that we had and turn them into reality. Still, here we are. Thousands of changes later, we're here. Everyone on the team is delighted to announce the first public release of LSPDFR 0.4, available now. LSPDFR 0.4 brings sweeping changes which have been implemented over a number of years, so much so that we're not able to provide full release notes. Instead, we've put together a number of resources, new to LSPDFR 0.4, including a 'wiki' and a collection of more in-depth guides. -

Welcome to LSPDFR 0.4! In this Wiki you'll find a lot of information about the great range of new features and capabilities that we've introduced in LSPDFR 0.4. We know that this is a lot to take in, however, so here goes our attempt at a TLDR. Everything in LSPDFR 0.4 revolves around your Character. You can now create fully customisable characters using the same editor as GTA Online. This character has a name and their own stats and attributes. You can easily switch between characters using the Pause Menu You will spawn into the game as the character you last played as. This character defines how you interact with the game world in every aspect. You no longer drive to a police station to select a police offer model to play as, but instead from the very beginning you are your character. At the police station you can select your agency, outfit and inventory among other things, but you can no longer change your whole model. What happens when I play LSPDFR for the first time? If you are playing LSPDFR 0.4 for the first time, then you will not have a character. To get started, drive to a police station. Once you have entered the police station and have selected the option to go On Duty, you will be prompted to select a character. This will bring you to the Character Menu, where you will be able to create your own Custom Character, or choose from a selection of premade, ready-to-use ones. Where can I see a list of new features? We've decided not to release a full changelog for LSPDFR 0.4 - there are simply too many changes to list. Take it from us, almost everything in the mod has been changed in one way or another. Instead, we've put together two useful resources: Release Highlights - a short summary of the coolest new stuff. Feature Guides - more in-depth guides to the main features of LSPDFR. Note that the Release Highlights and Feature Guides are in no way indicative of all the new features or changes in LSPDFR 0.4.

We do not remove files unless they break the rules. Those files were removed by their authors, not by us.

Last time that happened to me I had my union rep appeal it. He needed to show that I hadn't gone soft so... set fire to the administrative building and blocked the door with a stolen firetruck (haha, the irony). Looked great until some high ranking corporate types somehow still managed to escape onto the street. Then he called an ambulance, the sick bastard. Splat, splat, splat, splat Suspension was lifted, never heard any more of it.
