When I did my SAT's the essay was the first portion we did, so make sure you're fully awake and on your game on the day of the test, so do whatever you need to do to make sure you're awake & aware, coffee, cold shower, etc. Other than that, like the other posts have said they're really only measuring your ability to write within the time constraints they give you, they're really not looking for anything too fancy or over the top. The best way to do well is to study leading up to the test, but when your within a day or two of the test, simply chill out. There's no need to be stressed out, just do the best you can & things should turn out just fine

With all these stupid challenges and generations becoming less and less receptive to what was once and SHOULD still be considered core values (family, hard work, dedication, respect, ect.) I'm beginning to feel that superseded only by money, technology is becoming one of the root of many problems in our society. Kind of ironic how this is being typed and read off a computer But honestly, over saturation of technology because of parent's inability to understand it's powerful effect on children is leading the newer generations toward a very bad road

Not sure of you guy's opinion of this, but the Ferguson Police tear gassed & bean bagged news crews after dispersing rioters a quarter mile away and dismantled their equipment after they fled from the gas. Personally although it isn't the "right" thing to do (since the media has the right to be there & are simply making a living), I kind of agree with the police action. The media has been fueling the fire of this tragic shooting and doing whatever possible to get a "good story" out of it. I'm kind of happy to see the media thrown out just like everyone else, I personally think the media is contributing to alot of the problems seen in Ferguson.
