So it does work online, which is cool. Only problem I don't like, is how it freezes my game while looking at the menu. Can the freezing be disabled for playing in Multiplayer? Cause that could cause someone to get auto-kicked for having a slow computer.

How long is the cool down timer for the road blocks?

Great work! Roadblocks are great, especially the enjoyment of choosing their path correctly or the disappointment when they turn the wrong way like they knew it was coming.

One thing though. Would it be possible to check IDs of drivers? I had hoped it could bypass the problem of the database not working on additional slots, but doesn't work if they are in a vehicle.

This is not an issue with this mod, it's just the wat the cops in GTA IV work. (In MP you can actually aim at a friendly cop, press 3 and then call in police/noose back up, and they will kill that cop). It's just how the AI is programmed.

Didn't think about that. I can change it not pause game in multiplayer for sure, but you will have to wait for new version. I have to take a few days break from scripting ;)

Roadblocks cool down timer varies on how far you are form roadblock. When you never get near them, they will last 60s. When you were somewhere near them it is 35s. (I'm not sure if those are correct numbers, I'm not at my main pc right now). You can manually dispose road block by menu.

I'll add that to my to do list. Problem is that I cannot communicate with LCPDFR. My script doesn't know that player is in hardcore pursuit. That's why it was soooo hard to script. I might be able to check what is the current animation of suspect and disable aggressive policeman, but don't expect that they will try to arrest suspect.

I've tried that but for now I can't achieve it. Of course I'm able to do this, but main goal is to work well with LCPD:FR, and I can't find a way to check if the driver was pulled over. Checking ID while LCPDFR pullover might lead to some serious issues.

That text is from LCPDFR not my script. I'm sure we will fix that. Send me your scripthookdotnet log after crash. We've fixed tow script, so we can fix this one too... but not tonight. I'm exhausted.

I love the roadblock idea. It's sweet. Me and a friend of mine went online to test how well this will work against player suspects.

I normally chase random players and not AIs. So would there be a function to were it would just spawn the roadblock some ways down the road I'm on instead of me setting a waypoint?

Also, I noticed if I spawn a roadblock down the road, and my friend gets there first. It's not there, then when I'm like a block away from it or so, it spawns. Sometimes the script errors out and crashes. Possible for the roadblock to instantly spawn when it's set to spawn?

Not sure if you are planning on setting this up for multiplayer friendly as well as single player. But I love the idea of these roadblocks online.

I would love to but there are some problems with that.

1. setting roadblock on road you are on: cool idea but impossible to script at least for me. I think that it would be too random with automatic set up.

2. I would love to make it work flawlessly in multiplayer but I don't have possibility to test it online. Road block script looks easy but it is very complicated. First of all when you request roadblock game gets all road nodes and sets up there 4 cars no matter what. Why? Because game has no idea what is there. If there are buildings, lamp posts etc. Then when you approach road block and it's near you (160 yd/m) cars are tested if they hit something and are set up correctly.

For now I have some ideas how to fix that but without someone able to test "special" versions of mod online I can't do anything.

I've used the Breathalyzer Mod without problems during a traffic stop, but I understand that scripts can be picky.

So for some reason , when I hit X , the phone comes up and everything work , I just cant see my mouse button. Any ideas? Im using ENB , VisualIV , Better City Textures.

My game keeps crashing after playing and at ramdom times, how can I find what is the problem with it. I dont belive it is your mod but you seem to very smart with the game.

I tried this, the objects seem fine. Only problem is, when my friend gets close to them, I lose the ability to delete them. So they just get stuck there.

Also did some more testing with the roadblock, fun as shit. We got in a bike and tried getting past them while getting chased by police, so much fun.

Then we tried out the bait car, that shit is fucked. When I try to spawn vehicles, I seem to crash. I thought maybe it's cause my friend is too close to me, so I went across the city and tried again, crashed. So I tried in Single Player, crashed too. After a while I finally got it to give me a vehicle. I think that feature to spawn the vehicle and have it drive to you can cause a crash.

But after we finally got a bait car, the ped that goes to steal the car seems to freeze up if they connect to another player. They just stand there. So I had to force them to leave naturally. Once we got further away, they finally stole the car, then my friend yelled yes like crazy and blew him up with an RPG. Cracking down on car thieves, lol.

Anyways, that bait car is very crash happy for me.

Also, do you have like Steam or something that I can let you know about online play with this? It's very promissing, and I'd like to help report problems with this. In the mean time, I'll just post them here.
