Could there be a way to edit the texture on the ballistic shield by any chance ?

Looking forward to LSPDFR plugin developers being able to use all the great new API enhancements in this update! This update will really open up a lot of new possibilities for callouts and plugins. Bi

Well maybe you should start a topic and people will help you instead of being pissed of for (maybe) no reason 😉

There could be any number of reasons from incorrectly installed plugins, conflicting keybinds, missing dependencies etc. If LSPDFR is crashing "every time" you try to load it, I'd recommend asking for help to ID the problem. If you take a look at my profile, you'll see my active mod list for 0.4.1. It's stable and I only get crashes when I mess up after mucking around with file editing. I'm confident that your issue(s) can be resolved - my list is proof of this.

Maybe if you post your crash log when it occurs next, the community can advise you of possible steps to try 🙂

This. I have no problem with LSPDFR and plugins installed. If you notice that one plugin seems to be causing crashes, try separating it from the rest and try again. With the extended modding scene being entirely community driven, there are bound to be issues with certain plugins butting heads; No two programmers are the exact same and outside of basics, there's not a "this is how it needs to be programmed" way of making plugins. There are always people willing to help dissect crash logs and troubleshoot for issues, try to utilize them next time you notice crashes 🙂

@Sam, you and the rest of the team always dress to impress and I can't stress enough how excited I am for integrated shield support. Thank you guys for continuing to keep the ball rolling with the 0.4 updates. You always manage to keep me on the edge of my seat, even when it's detailing work.

Is there a reason why LSPDFR don't have a megaphone/PA System for police cars??

Try pressing the Pullover key/button when close to a pursuit suspect.

I really don't like pursuits in 0.4; there is no desperation from the suspect to get away, they always if they don't get shot always end it rather than getting stopped. There's not much speeding on highways or anything 😞

How about adding some AMAZING original callouts or redo some of ones that are out there...... Hint, hint.. Los Santos Protection Squad....Now that would truly bring the game to life. Love you guys!

The MAIN thing that has to be fixed up is traffic stops. I use to be able to pull in behind car in parking lot and blip them and they'll stop. Nope not anymore if I do that they go hay wire trying to find another spot stop instead of just stopping there.

Sorry guys, As much hard work as you've put into 0.4, it seems a bit too over engineered for me. It rapes me for frames, high 30's down to 17 at best. I also think we need to ditch the apartments, as good and quirky as it is. It's annoying when you spawn there and have to teleport back to the station. The mod itself is absolutely amazing and I know you've pulled your balls out over it. It's only ever loaded for me once, and that was without any other plugins added. I really want to use this, but I'm going to have to stick with 0.31.

Is there a way you can disable the apartments or any other features we don't want to use ?

You can use the 0.4 police menu and change your spawn point to a random police station. You'll never see your apartment again. That's what I do. I appreciate the whole off duty RP aspect, but LSPDFR is so prone to crashes, before I go *onduty* I could randomly crash and it would all be for nothing. So I'd rather be a cop from the very start.

I still have the same average performance as with 0.3 only difference is 0.4 has some really **heavy script calls**. Very noticable when pulling out the custom flashlight, and when a suspect is having a hard time pulling over.

Mod it until you break it.

Looks great and all but personally i'd rather have FPS improvements and less texture loss, after about 3 high poly vehicles being spawned on a pursuit the game shits its self.. at this point I've had to close LSPDFR out probably several hundred times, so now i'm used to it and don't care to much but still.

With regards to texture loss, I ran into this issue with 0.3 while I was using an Open Interiors Mod. It would just eat my ram "64 GB" and I couldn't even go near the city. Now with 0.41 I am seeing the same issues, so I am guessing that has something to do with it. It must be some kind of open interior for the apartments and etc that is giving a lot of people problems.

Negative, Yes open interiors will cause that, but this, say you load.. 4 plugins for lspdfr 2 other than LSPDFR, and download.. say.. 6 vehicles.. after about 30 minutes of taking calls, calling a backup etc you will receive lag and massive texture loss, I have a friend playing on a RTX2080ti and an i9 with 64 gigs of ram and receives texture loss within 30 minutes as well, he has police 1/2/3 and sheriff 1/2 and fbi1 filled no other vehicles after going into a pursuit he gets texture loss or after taking a few calls texture loss. me nor him use open interiors or any mods like that.

I don't know...

If all those vehicles are faulty mods that are high poly with no correct LODs, it's not surprising.
