Rockstar's major (mod-breaking) updates are released generally in July and December, so not sure why you think they are releasing one soon.
 
 
The developer of those plugins has decided (for whatever reason) to add code that completely disables them under a bunch of different conditions, one of which is if you don't have the version of LSPDFR he developed them for installed. There is no reason for this as minor updates like this one do not affect plugins, but there is nothing the LSPDFR devs can do about it and they are not going to stop releasing updates because of one stubborn plugin developer.

"We can now confirm that we'll be releasing LSPDFR 0.4 in February, 2019."
 
While it's not a specific date, it is kinda a date in the sense that we can expect it on or before February 28, 2019. As someone who isn't chomping at the bit for 0.4 (thanks FiveM), but who will adopt it after some support is available, if seeing people excited for 0.4 triggers you, you might wanna stay away from the forums (and in particular, the 0.4 February confirmation thread).

Of course and I'm not disputing that but if the intention was to delay as long as possible (assuming that's what they're doing) so people keep checking in to make money from ads, why not just put a price tag on the game? 
 
And I know some people wont like that because they dont want to pay for it but if its wait vs pay, I'd pay all day long.

Dev... give us something, a date? any problems? just any information would be good. 😘

Live stream confirmed hype ❤️ That was my favourite part of the 0.3 release, as it showed off most of the new features, so I knew I didn't miss anything 😄 I am very glad to see this.

No one knows the exact date. All we know it hits in Feb. Everything you see are predictions on when it will drop...We're all hoping b4 this weekend is out or b4 the 28th

Are there going to be any major features revealed on release day (whenever that is) that we don't already know about?

The fact that this mod has reached over 4 million downloads and Rockstar hasn't supported a release of 1.0 is insane. There is a franchise opportunity, lore, development team and consumer base already in place. 

It would be great if the staffs would set a fixed date to the release so i havent to visit 100 times a day this site to view if the release is out

So it's February now. So is there going to be a release date announced for .04? Can't hurt to ask at any rate.
