  • I have similar issues... I turned off the preload, which helped a lot, but I still start losing textures after about 10 minutes The only other thing that seems to help, is reducing the amount of

Not a GPU problem, I can assure you.  Same here, I actually have like 4 or 5 other lines I was told to put in that systematically disables half of lspdfr 0.4 from ambient crimes to ambient poli

now what exactly does that setting do ?

what are we taking away experience wise ?

Loads all models that will be used by the mod at startup. This reduces

loading times and possible micro-stuttering during gameplay but will

increase memory usage. If you use many vehicle mods and encounter

texture loss, turning this off might help freeing memory.

@Veteranfighter Could i ask how can i do that?

u can use paint.net software and export the textures using openIV and simply change the resolution of the textures, then reimport them back into the ytd files.

Hi! It looks like I found out what caused my Texture problem. I deleted a bunch of my Addon Cars, played for like an hour, and no more texture loss!

Here is what I use for the moment:

- gameconfig with 1x traffic 1xpeds (Means Gta base)

- 1 Addon Car as a DLC

- medic4523's Fire/EMS pack (also a DLC)

- police, police2, police3, police4, sheriff and sheriff2 in patchday20

I am not sure if the amount of cars caused this problem or if it was a specific car (too high polygons maybe). I'll keep on trying to add cars and eventually find out where my Limit is.

I hope this helps your Problem as well.

Yes that's High Polygon add-on cars (not 4k textures) and Overskinned cars e.g you're playing with the car which has over 10 skins in it's texture dict file

I am running LSPDFR on Laptop 6GB GPU and 32GB RAM (over 30 add on police cars) no texture loss

plus fun fact some so called Extras can cause texture loss e.g extra lightbar or etc (buggy 3D model in terms of coding/making whatever) and LODs even with LODs car may be buggy as hell...... so I hate to say that but if the car is buggy.... it should be retired from the beat......

I have 2 Packs from Lozano71 and my own packs made by myself from different developers and for those mods

i am always using Torture version of GTA which helps me to understand which mod is buggy and which is good 🙂 Happy Patrolling guys! Cheers!

You can start by disabling model preloading in the lspdfr.ini. Resizing textures of vehicles can also help a lot, especially if they are very high res (4k and above).

How can I resize my texture vehicles ?

GTA V Redux graphic mod is compatible with lspdfr ?

Some people said no but some said yes so idk what to say 😕

It should be.

But i would recommend using Natural Vision Evolved for better FPS and less texture losses.
