My game was running on 50 stable FPS with sporadic drops to 40 FPS. That was on 0.3 with a bunch of plugins. Now I have the same amount of plugins more or less, but my FPS are dropping to 30 and even 25 FPS in some places, specially in daylight and in the city. I also noticed that it often depends on where I look. I mean, if I move the camera to one side, 25 FPS; then I move it to the other side, again 50 FPS. I don't really know what to do to get a worthy game experience. I don't think it has to do with graphics settings as the GPU is 4GB VRAM, enough for GTA V...

I'll ask a second time!

Cant change none of these setting.

Networking.DisableServerCommunication = True

Networking.DisableDiscordRichPresence = True

Main.DisableAmbientScriptHooks = True

AmbientSpawn.MaxCopsInArea = 0

WorldEvents.IntervalMultiplier = 0.0f

Callouts.Multiplier = 0

How do i change those?

it Is not letting me change the numbers!!!

How do I change from true to false????

You have to edit the lspdfr.ini file in the lspdfr folder in the main GTA directory. Open the ini and and those lines. Save and close.

Adding these lines helped me

Networking.DisableServerCommunication = True

Networking.DisableDiscordRichPresence = True

Main.DisableAmbientScriptHooks = True

AmbientSpawn.MaxCopsInArea = 0

WorldEvents.IntervalMultiplier = 0.0f

Callouts.Multiplier = 0

The preload models is set to false

i have about 30 add-on els police cars and can play without texture loss. However I use non els cars for the ai (police 1 2 3 etc are non els.) I also downloaded a new gameconfig for GTA version 1604.1

already done did nothing. only thing that fixt the issue is adding vehicles 1 by 1 seeing witch one makes the texture load slow.

callouts multiplier 0 lol should be boring for you without callouts

I normally just force callouts anyway. Either that or I force pursuits after I pull someone over lol. The current lineup of callouts don't really interest me much.

Your issue is strange to me though. I have an i9 7900 1080ti 32gb ram and don't have any texture loss after forcing duty. I had instant texture loss before adding those lines and zero loss after.

What about your gameconfig? Have you installed the pack file mod and the heap adjuster mod along with the 1604.1 gameconfig?

Edit: Forgot to ask, did you replace game vehicles (police 1 2 FBI etc) with els vehicles? Replacing ai vehicles with els ones always gave me issues. Since I replaced them with non els the issues have gone.

Ok that might be it. I know it's not your PC. Just trying to see what's different in your game vs mine. Mine looks amazing and is stable with no crashes or texture loss.

Install the pack file limit adjuster and the heap limit adjuster. These files simply allow GTA to use more of your PC resources. It made a huge difference for me with crashing and instability in a modded game.

Also try the gameconfig 1604.1 by f7yo.

Also try the gameconfig that comes with world of variety. I downloaded the whole mod and only took the gameconfig and popcycle from it.

GTA wasn't designed to do what we're trying to do. I have been playing with the gameconfig recently and found that a properly setup gameconfig is vital for a modded game.

I am using the arena war gameconfig now. If I put the original gameconfig in my game now it crashes after about 10 minutes.

If you're up to it, try it and let me know how it goes. You shouldn't be having issues with your rig.

You need the gameconfig too as well as the heap limit mod. Users have posted comments that crashes happen if all three aren't installed

Here is my game folder

I also have been experiencing a lot of micro stuttering and fps drops even though I have a decent computer (R9 390, i5-4460, 24 GB of RAM). This is w/o having anything installed except LSPDFR and a trainer. My lag/stutter seems random it happens during pursuits, callouts, just driving around

Edited by rmckinstry

Glad I'm not the only one having this issue, on the last version of LSPDFR, I ran around a solid 65-75 fps with vsync on. Now the latest version I'm getting about 48-55 fps. That's bad! You guys have far superior systems than mine, mine is just a modern gaming laptop with a i7 7700hq processor.  0.3 has way better performance than 0.4 by far. Hope they get this fixed out, driving around with super low fps isn't fun, so I can expect why most aren't happy. But take this, if people with way better processors than mine are getting 40 fps, than this a software issue, NOT a hardware issue.

Specs:

Asus GL702VS

Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 8gb

i7 7700hq 2.8-3.8 cpu speed

32 gigs of ram

windows 10

1 TB SSD

75hz refresh rate

@LMS @SamI don't know if you are still keeping track of this thread but I narrowed my issues (Stuttering and fps drop) down to a few scenarios.

  • Pursuits or any events created by LSPDFR near a lot of grass or dirt/sand (All of Blaine County and near the oil part of the city)
  • Pursuits near big bodies of water
  • If you are in a helicopter all areas have decent stutter

Again, the only things I have installed are LSDFR, Player Location Display, and a trainer)

My specs are ((R9 390, i5-4460, 24 GB of RAM)

I have the same cpu and R9 380, but 8 GB RAM. Why not sharing some? 🙄😂
