For the people who don't know what this is, this is an explicit internet censorship bill. Some of the issues with this bill is it will be illegal to post a song online, even if it is in the background of another video. As an example, someone posting a walkthrough of EFLC could get sued because the song "Arab Money" is in the background.

R* wouldn't get sued because of their size and because they have permission for the songs, but someone uploading a video with the song in it could get fined and imprisoned.

so either youtube will be completely "disassembled" or money will be charged to use it? i wanna shave that goonies head bald.. "force countries to adopt it" ugh the U.S Government alway's on a power trip..

lets be honest...SOPA 1 failed. ACTA failed and i'm sure if people gonne hit the streets again and do demonstrations SOPA 2 will fail too

the goof in the video said himself "force countries to adopt it" the U.S can and WILL eventually go to war with american citizen's which they do everyday as it is, dictating to the people how thing's are going to be run, i don't even support my own government let alone the U.S government and the wonderful job they are doing with the country..

Or eventually people will get used to it and stop protesting it. Trust me, when my government wants to do something, they don't stop at anything to get an excuse to do it.

I don't think there has been a single year in my life where I have thoroughly enjoyed the country I live in. And this is a perfect example of why that is so. Our government is (and has been) going downhill... FAST.

Seriously though, this thing won't die. The Government won't quit until its implemented but at the same time, mass users of the internet, myself included, will stand up to this. Its taking away the freedom of the internet.

Straight up dick measuring contest is what it is when it comes to the U.S government, as for the Harper government, harper himself is slowly whithering the economy away, the only thing he is supposedly doing right is pulling the Canadian Soldiers out of that god forsaken desert by 2014, i'm really interested in how canada will get involved with this IF it passes.
