Is it starting again ?! [German News]

Featured Replies

Is it starting again ?! Those attacks happend multiple times the last years and most of the time ended with dead people, this time a Volkswagen T5 drove into a restaurant with more then 40 people standing and sitting outside, he aprox. hit 35 people, all of them were injured, 3 died at the location.
Its really getting out of hand and people should think about how to make such places more safe where a large quantity of people are.

Just a bit of context:

It all happend in the inner city of Münster, Germany in the afternoon of Saturday, the 07th April 2018

The van was driven by Jens R., 48 year old german citizen who was mentally ill. After driving into the crowded outdoor area of a restaurant, he committed suicide with a handgun.

Since there was a protest planned to take place in Münster later that day, a high number of police officers and emergency services were already on higher than normal alert, nearby and able to respond quickly.

Including the driver, 3 people died. There were multiple injuries, 20 severe ones of which 6 are still currently recovering, one still in critical state.

Jens R. was a lone perpetrator, the investigations found no connections to any terroristic or political group.

I think at least the basic information (date, location) should be provided when starting a topic on news stories...

and this is proof that you don't need a gun to kill large amounts of people, lets see them call for car control

There's already car control, it's called a driver license. Quit the childish argument already, it's sad.

Except that the dude had nothing to do with what you're implying. Guess bigotry has a tendency to turn people blind.

I am a bigot towards people that are statistically harmful to my country, that is absolutely correct.

Missed the point where the dude implicated in this thing had absolutely nothing to do with the "statistically harmful people", hence my comment that the bigotry turns people so blind they can't even think straight anymore.

You're slightly late, but these attacks are growing tiresome.

This is getting so commonplace it's barely worth the thread and the argument that goes with it each time anymore.

You are right, I am slightly late.
I understand that, the point tho is that I think running 1 or 2 persons over is unfortunately  "common" but driving into 40 people, knowing that you wont get out of there, is not a "common" event.

When it's Islam 3/4ths of the time or more, i and everyone else can assume. Sorry facts and statistics anger you. The only one blind here is you when it comes to the commonplace fact of violence in Islam and it's followers. If you are so offended like usual why not just close the thread per usual or issue a warming. Lol. :whistling:

Again, this event has nothing to do with Islam. You can try to justify yourself all you want, it has nothing to do with it. Move on, stop being so obsessed, it's almost unsettling.

Alright so this time it had nothing to do with Islam and those implying it were wrongly doing so. Them implying that isn't wrong though when indeed it's statistically factual. Nevertheless shouldn't we judge so easily. First get some facts about it before you judge.
