THE HYPE IS REAL

It'll be nice to have coast guard, beach police, border patrol, airport police and port authority police roles added in LSPDFR!

one thing i would love to see, is choosing my liveries for my patrol units. like most cars can have serveral diffrent liveries in one car, so if i call in back up in los santos and i get a blaine county unit bc that skin is on the car and its randomly choosen isnt vary realistic....i would love to see those options

You can already do that with the CustomBackUp mod. It's really cool! Give it a look. You can select which cars spawn, the peds that drive them and the uniform of the ped or the livery of the vehicle. Essentially, you could have the same exact car spawn with different liveries.

You can also do it with LSPDFR 0.3 in Backup.xml. You just need to use the livery flag (<Vehicle livery="1">police</Vehicle>)

ok well  maybe i need to redownload it, because i look at the backup XML of 0.3 and i can choose which cars spawn, but only the liverys of the ambulance can i choose

You can add the livery flag to any vehicle. It doesn't have to be there in the default file.

@Sam I think the best first improvement for the AI cops will be to make them react to the suspect,no matter if they are spawned by the game itself or by LSPDFR. An example will be the cruisers parked on the side of the highway that will need to join the pursuit that you're in if they are nearby. Or the noose chopper flying above Grove Street. In some simple words,we need to trick the game tgat we're an AI cop to make it to handle the situation how's designed to do.

Haven't played in quite a while, but as far as I remember, that's how it already works. I know that Albo's LSPFDR+ mod has an option that specifically blocks ambient cops from being added to pursuits because of that.

Fairly certain there is a more recent mod that makes it where any cop in the area can join the pursuit. Not sure which mod it is though. 

There should be a way to pull more than one vehicle over at a time.

ok does that mean i can add the lines in...? 

what i posted in the description it says i can control extras, but i don't see any off that in the code.... and liverys but only for the maverick
