I have installed the new script hook, RAGE and copied the new update files over in my game folder, but when i run Rage to play LSPDFR it comes up with an error. (Not Enough Permissions or Bad Anti Virus)

I have never seen this error before so not too sure what to do.The game itself works fine just not Rage.

 

I Have Tried

• Disabling Anti Virus (Avast)
• Creating and exception in Avast
• Disabling Windows Defender
• Reinstalling RAGE 
• Running RAGE as an admin

 

Any help is appreciated

Having the same issue. Lots of previous topics mentioned that we had to wait for a new scripthookv update, which did updated yesterday yet the problem persists for me. Tried all of the things you did and nothing more.

Just going to jump on the train and say that I have the same problem. I have tried the same things that Bradstr090 have tried and nothing seems to work. It only happened after this new update. Was working fine before. 

Same here, I have even moved reinstalled the game to my C drive from my SSD to see if that would fix it.

Try to start the GTAV in window borderless mode (forced in RPH settings)

I also had this issue, what my problem was is that for some reason "Enable counter measures against online vehicles" was automatically enabled. All I had to do was un-tick it and all my problems disappeared :)

 

Don't know if this is the case for everyone else, but hope that helped ~ Slushy.

 

EDIT: Don't know if this is important, but I reinstalled both AdvancedHookV.asi (from LSPDFR download) and AdvancedHook.dll (From ELS Download), as well as playing on windows borderless. No problems for me after using that method.

Just tried both of these and still no luck.

I was having the same issue, and the fix that worked for me, was removing ENB and Reshade files. 

Have you gone into your openIV and clicked "edit" and updated the game files for the update?

I actually ended up removing the ENB and reshade as said above and it worked again. Switched to a different lighting mod.

yes good post, this was one of the problems as well.

Script hook v seems to be having issues for alot of people still.

Try removing that also if problem persists.

 

Also im sure its running in this mode, but right click rageplugin launcher> properties>Compatibility>Privilege level at bottom, check mark run program as admin. ( again im sure you are doing this but good to double check.)

I'm gonna second this. What works for me is removing ENB files, which sucks!

All is back in working order now!The devs have released a update which has fixed the issue.
