    Basically, "Stop The Ped" is a plugin which contains replacement for the same functionality in vanilla LSPDFR. But, there's a very annoying bug which sometimes prevents you to stop the ped by holding the "E" key. This plugin provides almost the same functionality which allows you to stop the peds. There's also an additional stop at gunpoint feature which have softer arrest gesture (kneel down instead of kissing the ground on vanilla LSPDFR). Also available are the additional features to pat down the suspect and provide gun permit, also tons of other features. PREREQUISITES: Rage Plugin Hook v0.57 alpha LSPD First Response v0.31 by G17 Traffic Policer v6.13.7.0 by Albo1125 (required to observe the peds for alcohol/narcotics) Police SmartRadio v1.1.1.1 by Albo1125 (required to request police trasport, tow, coroner, and insurance services) VocalDispatch v1.6.0.0 by turbofandude (optional if you want voice command to call police transport, tow, coroner, and insurance services) Ultimate Backup v1.0.0.0 by BejoIjo Rage Native UI v1.6.3 by alexguirre !! Important Notes !! "Stop The Ped" v4.0.0.0 or above does not require "Arrest Manager" as prerequisite plugin any more. INSTALLATION: Copy the contents of "Plugins\LSPDFR" (including subfolders) in this package to: "GTA V directory\plugins\LSPDFR" If you haven't had "RageNativeUI.dll" in your "main GTA V folder", don't forget to copy the file from this package Please open and edit "StopThePed.ini" file, if you want to replace the keyboard key or controller button bindings HOW TO USE: To stop the nearest ped: When using keyboard, you just need to DOUBLE TAP the "E" key When using controller, DOUBLE TAP the "DRightPad" controller button Come closer to the stopped ped and press "E" or "DRightPad" to bring up "Stop The Ped" menu. You may close the menu at anytime by pressing "Backspace" or "Esc" key on keyboard, and "B" button on the controller And you may bring back the menu (when in range) using "E" key or "DPadRight" button To perform stop at gunpoint, just aim the ped with your gun when performing ped stop (while aiming, DOUBLE TAP "E" key or "DRightPad") To target a ped as pursuit suspect, just aim the ped with your gun and DOUBLE TAP "T" key or "DPadUp" button To perform "Quick Grab" on any peds, press "LControl + T" key or "DPadLeft + B" button FEATURES: Stop the ped: Stop the nearest ped peacefully. (only one ped at a time) Stop the ped at gunpoint. (while aiming your weapon at the ped) You may stop the next nearest ped by doing the same command Using menu, you may choose: Ask ped's ID card to see the ID and any gun permit when the ped has it Issue warning to the ped which will dismiss him/her Follow Me command to make the stopped ped following you Take the ped from behind (grab). You can also perform "Quick Grab" on any peds using "LControl + T" key or "DPadLeft + B" button Pat Down the ped to search for any illegal items Conduct Breathalyzer test Conduct Drug swab test Arrest the ped Release the arrested ped. Ask ped to kneel down or get up Request nearby Police Buddy (from Ultimate Backup) to watch the ped Request escort vehicle for the ped (Taxi, Uber, Ambulance, or Police Transport) The stopped ped will have a yellow blip with "human" icon The arrested ped will have the red blip Stop the ped on the vehicle. The ped will comply as long as the vehicle is not moving The ped may flee if we attempt to arrest them. You may set the probability in the .ini file Notify the player when the ped is intoxicated (alcohol or narcotics) When you walk close to any police car, the arrested ped who is following you or the one being grabbed, might be put into the vehicle using menu You may ask the arrested ped to get out of the car using "E" key This plugin will also injects "Stop The Ped" menu into all peds who are arrested using LSPDFR vanilla gunpoint stop or ped stop (configurable in the .ini file) The peds arrested by your police buddies will also be affected With this feature, you can perform all "Stop The Ped" actions such as "Pat Down Ped" on all arrested peds. Enjoy! While using "Injects Stop The ped menu" above, please make sure to wait for a few seconds after the arrest to allow this plugin processing the ped Compatible with Computer+. When you give the citation (using Computer+ shortcut key) to stopped ped, they will be dismissed automatically Player may ask Police Buddy from "On Scene Backup" to pat down, perform tests, or arrest the suspect (requires "On Scene Backup" plugin). Just make sure there's a police buddy watching for the stopped ped, and then select "By My Buddy" on the left/right selector. Using PoliceSmartRadio or VocalDispatch, you can call the following services: Police Transport Tow service Coroner service Insurance service You can also self transport a suspect to nearest jail. When you choose to escort suspect by yourself to cell, your partner will automatically lock the cell door for you after you deliver the suspect. (after you get out of the cell) Make realistic ped age based on the model. You will no longer see a 63 years old chick (when checking her ID . (If you install STP, you won't need "Proper Ped Age" anymore) Context Menu. When you approach and stand next to any Ped or vehicle, you may open this menu by pressing "G" key or controller button "DPadLeft + A". With this menu, you can: Stop the ped, which will make the ped stopped and bring the main stop the ped menu Ask the ped to go. This is needed if the peds are hanging out and you need to disperse them. Drag the ped body (if the ped is injured or dead and laying on the ground) Perform CPR Search/frisk the dead ped body Call Coroner (for dead ped) Call Tow service for abandoned vehicle Call Insurance Service for damaged vehicle PAT DOWN THE PED: The items list and probabilities are configurable in the .ini file. It is also compatible with these third party search plugin: Search Warrant by @Darkmyre Police Search by @FtDLulz When you previously searched the ped using above plugins, STP pat down will also return the same result. But if the ped hasn't been searched by any of those plugins, STP will randomize the search result by picking from configured items in the .ini file (or from those third party plugins item files) If you are a callout developer who want to inject some items into the ped, you may use those third party search plugins API to do it. "Stop The Ped" will automatically recognize and display the items. API FOR CALLOUTS DEVELOPERS: A. Pat Down items You may inject items into "Ped.Metadata.searchPed" variable (similar with "Search Warrant" plugin) Example: myPed.Metadata.searchPed = "~r~handgun~s~, ~y~pocket knife~s~, and ~g~wallet~s~"; Please notice that the ~r~, ~y~, and ~g~ are for text color of red, yellow, and green. Whether ~s~ is for text default color. B. Gun permit There are 3 metadata variables you could inject: Ped.Metadata.hasGunPermit -> it's a boolean typed variable (true/false) to determine whether the ped has gun permit or not Ped.Metadata.gunLicense -> it's a string typed variable. You're free to put any string there. Assigned values by this plugin: "Handguns", "Long guns", "Handguns and Long guns" Ped.Metadata.gunPermit -> it's also a string typed variable. You're free to put any string there.     I created this plugin to replace the default LSPDFR Police Backup menu and combine the power of my previous three backup plugins to assist the player during traffic stop, pursuit, and on scene situations. More over, you can also customize the police units components, properties, and weapons based on regions and zones in LSPDFR. PREREQUISITES: Rage Plugin Hook v0.57 alpha LSPD First Response v0.31 by G17 Rage Native UI v1.6.3 by alexguirre Traffic Policer v6.13.7.0 by Albo1125 (required by traffic stop observation) Police SmartRadio v1.1.1.1 by Albo1125 (required to request backup using Police SmartRadio) VocalDispatch v1.6.0.0 by turbofandude (optional if you want voice command to call backups) Stop The Ped v4.2.9.1 by BejoIjo !!! IMPORTANT NOTES !!! You will no longer need "Traffic Stop Backup", "On Scene Backup", and "Spike trips Backup" plugins, since they are already built in to the "Ultimate Backup" plugin. There are 2 crews in each Ambulance unit. The "pax" attribute in xml will not have any effect. Fire Department will find any fire sources and try to stop them. They can also tend to the bodies and perform CPR. There are 4 crews in each Fire Truck unit. The "pax" attribute in xml will not have any effect. Code 2 backup will arrive with their gun holstered. Meanwhile, the Code 3 backup units will always have their gun drawn The Backup units (except pursuit backup) will stay and stand by for you until you dismiss them or leave them away If a unit consists of several cops (e.g. SWAT), you can just dismiss the group leader or driver (with the biggest blue blip) to dismiss them all The Spike Strips Backup in this plugin will automatically detect target vehicle during the pursuit There's a new "Panic Button" for PoliceSmartRadio by this plugin, where you can customize the units being dispatched in the UltimateBackup.ini file TRAFFIC STOP BACKUP Perform a traffic stop and pull over the suspect, then position you car behind the stopped car Make sure you have enough space on your back to allow the police backup car to stop. Open Ultimate Backup Menu and choose the "Traffic Stop" backup unit. (you can also use PoliceSmartRadio) Wait a few seconds and your police backup will be coming and park the car right behind yours Allow the police backup to walk and take position When everything's fine, police buddy will be standing by for you until you dismiss him (do it by standing in front of him face-to-face) or until you're leaving the scene OBSERVATION REPORT When your police buddy taking position during the traffic stop, he/she will observe the stopped vehicle, including the driver and passengers. If your buddy found something suspicious, he/she will report it to you through notification Based on that report, you may conduct further investigation by performing a search on the reported subject. You must have a third party search plugin to do that. Supported search plugins are: Search Warrant by Darkmyre Police Search by FtDLulz FELONY STOP Perform a traffic stop and pull over the suspect, then position you car behind the stopped car Make sure you have enough space on your back to allow the police backup car to stop Open Ultimate Backup Menu and choose the "Felony Stop" backup unit from the "Response Type" selection. (you can also use PoliceSmartRadio) The backup unit will park the car next to yours and then aim the weapon at the suspect You can start the felony stop process by aiming your weapon at the suspect K9 BACKUP K9 Backup unit is an additional unit which can only be called when you need assistance to inspect the vehicle using K9 (dog) during traffic stop When the K9 officer tells you that he/she is ready, move your character in front of him/her face-to-face to make him/her start the vehicle inspection using K9 The K9 can also detect threat from the suspects. If so, it will attack the ped. The inspection will take a while. Once it's done, the K9 officer will tell you the result. Please make sure to have a car width space on the suspect vehicle right side to allow those units to move. If there's not enough space, then expect for any glitches. You may choose the dog model name for k9 backup unit. Set the "k9_model" attibute within "VehicleSet". It is only valid for "K9LocalPatrol" and "K9StatePatrol" Available dog models are: "CHOP", "HUSKY", "SHEPHERD", "ROTTWEILER", "RETRIEVER". (if nothing is set, default would be "SHEPHERD") IMPORTANT NOTES About Backup car parking position: When it is called with Code 2 or Traffic Stop, the backup vehicle will try to park behind player's vehicle (lining up). Make sure to park parallel with the road and provide enough space for the backup cars to stop and park their cars When it is called with Code 3, the unit will just come as quickly as possible and stop the vehicle at nearest location If you call Code 2 backup, but the scene is not safe (threat detected) or you (player) is too far away from your police car, then backup parking position will not be lined up (it will stop at nearest location) About sirens sound: By default, while in Code 2 or Traffic Stop, siren sound is set to silent by this plugin This will work great when you're using non-ELS car models But there's a limitation for ELS car. It will still play the siren sound, even though the plugin has turned it off If you are using ELS car and you want a silent siren while in Code 2, set "IsCode2SirenLightsOn" parameter in the .ini file to "no". About Ambulance and Fire Truck: Those units are spawned using default LSPDFR backup API If you want to customize those units, you may edit the default LSPDFR "backup.xml" file About Traffic Stop Backup To enable Traffic Stop Backup Menu, You need to have a car pulled over and have the driver still inside the vehicle If you ask the driver to get out of the vehicle, the traffic stop session will be closed by LSPDFR and you will not be able to open Traffic Stop Backup Menu About Threat detection range Sometimes if you can see a threat (shootings or weapon), but your buddies don't react, you need to increase the "ThreatDetectionRange" parameter in the .ini file I set the default value to "30" to support all range of CPU specs while maintaining good frames performance If you feel your CPU is strong enough, you can increase the value slightly by 10.   3. Hi, appreciate your feedbacks Yeah the felony stop number of units was configurable on "Traffic Stop Backup" plugin. But, it's not in "Ultimate Backup". I can bring that parameter back for UB. Stay tuned. Actually you can do that now. In the .ini file, you can find a parameter to do that (I forgot the name because I'm at work now) .You can mention on that parameter the "backup type" and the arrival order will also follow the unit order in that param. If you want for example 3 LocalPatrol unit, just put LocalPatrol 3 times in there. That's a good point. Let me think on how to do that. Stay tuned. Perhaps you have a plugin that generate ambient events. It might also cause the ped becomes "rogue ped", since it is taken over by that plugin and it's out of UB control. That "rogue ped" can even sometimes steals your car with cuff still on.. lol
  4. Hi, thanks for your feedback. I decided to do that for now because the same thing will happen if the backup has for example 4 cops. I you want all 4 cops to be still sitting in the car, then where should we put the suspect, since all seats are taken? This should not be a problem and I do it for the sake of performance. You'll still get all cops near you to stay anyway. And you can still call more backups if you need them. This is also done by design, since there's very rare IRL to have more than 1 air unit during pursuit. That's not a big issue. .. You can always call Spike Strip Backup again if the last one is cancelled or not effective. This issue might be caused by other plugins/callouts which dismiss the arrested suspect or take over the ped for ambient events. Usually a callout tells you to end it by pressing "End" or other button when it's concluded. Make sure to do that before processing the suspect further, because usually those callouts "dismiss" the peds when it ends.
  5. Most probably it was timeout. I also plan to improve the unit arrival mechanic in the codes, especially if the scene is narrow and crowded. By default, this plugin doesn't set any vehicle extras parameters. It just spawns the vehicle using RPH API and let RPH decides. I don't think it's necessary to randomize extras since there are many factors that can screw it up. For example in POLICE, extra_1 & extra_2 are both the lightbar. Plugin cannot detect such overlap. If it randomize both to be active then the vehicle will look funny. So, I think I just let the users to customize the extras as they want without randomizing it. I thought the pursuit backup crashes has been fixed on the last update. If it's still crash, most probably there's some timing issues on your PC. What is your PC spec? I saw from your log that you smashed the pursuit backup request 3 times in a second. That might also cause that issue.     "Make Peds Calm Again" plugin is inspired by "Keep Calm" plugin by @Stealth22 . But, due to lags and performance issues when using it on my rig, I decided to develop my own similar plugin for LSPDFR, with more additional features. What makes it different: - Designed and created with performance and optimization in mind - This plugin is very light weight, thus almost NO LAG and NO FPS DROP when using it - A lot of new features PREREQUISITES: Rage Plugin Hook v0.57 alpha LSPD First Response v0.31 by G17 FEATURES: Make all ambient peds including ped drivers in the vehicles stay cool and calm when you are pointing your gun at them Will not affect all peds spawned by LSPDFR plugins (including callouts) You can toggle on/off the plugin using keyboard key (configurable in the .ini file) You may automatically activate it on startup (configurable in the .ini file) You may exclude the gang members to be affected by this plugin, so they might still attack you (configurable in the .ini file) You may separately enable calm effect for the peds on foot and peds driving a vehicle (configurable in the .ini file) You may set the calm radius (configurable in the .ini file) When shooting is happening, the peds will get panic and flee. Peds will still be calm if you only aim a gunpoint at them. Peds on foot and drivers have separate flags (configurable in the .ini file) When player vehicle's sirens/lights are on and vehicle is moving, the driver calm effect is temporarily paused, so they will make ways for you properly (configurable in the .ini file) New "Freeze Driver" feature to to make all cars stopped in a certain radius using a key press (default: LControl+Delete). It shall ignore driver of all emergency vehicles including Coroner from Arrest Manager, so they will still be able to reach the victims or suspects. INSTALLATION: Copy the contents of "Plugins\LSPDFR" in this package to: "GTA V directory\plugins\LSPDFR" Please open and edit "MakePedsCalmAgain.ini" file, if you want to replace the keyboard key or controller button bindings NOTE: If you're upgrading from previous version, please copy and overwrite all files.   7. Hi. I think you can give it a try. Just use the MP (multiplayer) peds MP_M_FREEMODE_01 (male) MP_F_FREEMODE_01 (female) All comps and props values can be observed using trainer. Usually I use TrainerV for that purpose.

The parameter should come with FlatbedOffset=X,Y,Z If the car position is too high, reduce the Z offset. for example FlatbedOffset=0.0,0.0,-0.5 (you may put a minus value)
  9. The Police Transport is handled by Stop The Ped. You can customize them using parameters in the StopThePed.ini file, as follows: // The livery number for POLICET (default prisoner transport vehicle) LiveryNumberPTCity=0 LiveryNumberPTCounty=0 // The probability to use default POLICET than the other additional vehicles for transport ProbabilityOfDefaultPT=40 // Additional vehicles for prisoner transport in Los Santos City area AdditionalPTCity=POLICE,POLICE2,POLICE3 // Additional vehicles for prisoner transport outside Los Santos City area (counties) AdditionalPTCounty=SHERIFF,SHERIFF2 // The ped models used for transport officer MaleOfficerCity=S_M_Y_COP_01 FemaleOfficerCity=S_F_Y_COP_01 MaleOfficerCounty=S_M_Y_SHERIFF_01 FemaleOfficerCounty=S_F_Y_SHERIFF_01 // Probability of female officers for Prisoner transport (0-100) ProbabilityFemale=60 If you don't want POLICET to come, you can set "ProbabilityOfDefaultPT=0" Currently, there are only 2 supported zones: Los Santos City and Counties (out of city) My next plan is to add police transport unit into Ultimate Backup, and STP is still able to call them.
  10. Hi. You can add extra_1, extra_2 ... extra_12, inside the vehicle tag. example: <Vehicle livery="1" extra_1="True" extra_2="False">POLICE2</Vehicle> Make sure to download and install the latest Ultimate Backup update.
  11. You're still using an outdated version of Ultimate Backup. Please download the latest update which already addressed the crash if you're requesting pursuit backup. Please use "Stop The Ped" plugin for that purpose. I also have plan to add police transport backup into UB in addition to current implementation in STP.

  13. Hi. Apparently, it was caused by a bad xml entry in "DefaultRegions.xml" file, mentioned by @Giordano on the previous post. I've uploaded the correct one.

  15. I don't have such crashes. It might be related to some timing due to unique and different setups/specs for each users. Right now, I'm still trying to tweak some codes to accommodate those differences. Stay tuned No you can't. Please open "DefaultRegions.xml" file and you can find the description on how you modify the xml files. There's some known bug on vehicle "extras" implementation in the xml file. I'm still fixing this issue. Stay tuned.
  16. Hi. In the "DefaultRegions.xml" file, you can find the description on how to edit the XML file. You have to know what is XML first. I'm using XML for backup definitions because XML is commonly used in the GTA/LSPDFR modding community. Just take your time to learn XML and you'll good to go. I think you are in the parks area which covers highways. You can find the parks region in "CustomRegions.xml" and modify it as you wish. Does the same issue happen if you do it again? or it's only a one time issue? CTD is usually caused by corrupted mods and textures. It can also caused by a bad codes in a plugin, which doesn't handle certain condition. I'll try to test and reproduce that later today. Please provide me with RPH log.
  17. That happens if you set the comp_shirt to a short sleeve shirt. You need to sync the texture of the arms with comp_face and comp_hands.
  18. Hi, can you send me all your xml files? I saw from the log that the problem always happened when requesting backup in the "Strawberry" area. Did you try to call ambulance/fire dept in another area? (e.g. sandy shores, paleto bay) Please also try to run it using vanilla GTA V to troubleshoot (disable OpenIV mod folder by renaming it) The xml files that come with the installation package should do it for you. If you're in the Los Santos City area, and call Supervisor, the police buddy will come with stripes, as long as you don't use custom ped model mod for the police. If you're using custom ped model, you have to adjust it by yourself, since every model have different indexes for badge components.

  20. Thanks for the reports. Yeah, Currently I spawn the vehicle using default spawn API in Rage Plugin. I think it doesn't randomize the liveries. I'll find out how to randomize the liveries by default. The current Firetruck & Ambulance crews are hard-set only to 2 peds, due to the AI implementation and performance reason. I think Ambulance is fine with 2 crews. But, I'll try to make firetruck having 4 crews. stay tuned. New Panic Button parameter (PanicButtonUnits) in UltimateBackup.ini Yes, you can basically just add new lines without replacing all the files.

  24. Try to use the original STP ini and xml files to troubleshoot it. I'm afraid one of those files is corrupted somehow.
  25. Might be something wrong with the breathalyzer object model. Did you modify it?
