I have ripped the Dodge Charger police and the Ford Taurus from Driver San Francisco.

I will convert these cars for Gta IV, for its HQ low Poly models.

You could try running it in Windows XP mode. Have you tried that?

And maybe the model is somewhere for download. I don't know, I can not ensure you, so no promises.

To expand on intensified's post, right click the icon, select properties, then head to the compatibility tab, then change the settings so that it runs as XP.

Tried that before posting this topic. Doesn't work. Because its still using Dx11. And 3d ripper works only with Dx9. And shortcut extensions also didn't work.

What version of Win7 do you have?

64 bit. Why?

I meant edition, but I realized that what I was thinking of was stupid. Basically, Win7 Pro and up come with XP mode, which is a VM of Windows XP. However, as a VM, it wouldn't be suitable for running a game.

the whole thing is about DX9 and vista and windows 7 use dx11 so 3d ripper doesn't work on them.

Minor correction: The issue is that Driver:SF is coded to use dx11 when available (which it is on Windows 7). You can and do have both dx11 and dx9 installed; they're perfectly compatible. Older games can't use dx11, so they use dx9. Furthermore, 3d ripper only works on games running dx9.

If you could find a way to force Driver to use dx9, it would work. 3d ripper already uses it.

The problem is that there is no way to force it if your pc is dx 11

Recently i converted the CVPI from Driver Sf.

Because its High quality and low Poly.

I want to convert the dodge charger from Driver SF.

But the ripping program only works with Windows Xp.

Is there someone who can rip the model for me?

Why would you wanna convert the Charger? The charger we have is converted from NFS, which is known for low polycount, very accurate models. Sounds perfect to me. Besides Driver SF only has the SRT8 version.

Yeah, might not be worth the work, since there's an unlocked model available.

The RAM 3500 or Monaco from here would be interesting tho:

There's already a civil Monaco converted from Driver SF, by BubLik (the wheels are crap) -I tried contacting him for getting permission to turn it into a police version but I haven't get response...-, but a police version would be nice.

Personally I'd like to see the Olds Vista Cruiser, the '98 GMC Sierra or the AMC Pacer converted.

I know the dodge is already available. But the driver version is much smaller and helps the gta engine.

That's why i want to convert it.
