Police 10-13

Featured Replies

There's been countless topics regarding this game. this game is probably the most talked about police game on our forums... not sure why since it'll most likely either a) end up being a disaster and won't make a release or 2) be hyped up, released and turns out to be one of those crappy german simulators

If you want to me reply as soon as possible, then either quote or @CouthInk4  me as i'll be notified, a general reply will not notify me

This, 100%  They have hyped the shit out of this game and promised way too much.  In my opinion, this went from being a police simulator to a full on everything law enforcement simulator, which makes me think the developers have bitten off more than they can chew.  Am I desperate for a good police simulator?  Yes, but at this point, every single developer that has tried to make one has been a crappy team who push the game out, then abandon it.

At this point, EmergeNYC is our best hope at a legitimate police roleplay game.

It's not that bad of an idea, nor a game. It's more of the fact that it seems to be going into a random direction, it seems very much like a shot in the dark. I'd like to see them break up what they want into the game, how possible it is and whether some parts need to be something that is done now or released later. With all that has been promised, it seems like it's going to take a fair while, I mean Grand Theft Auto V had a huge budget and development team, and it took them what, 5 years?

This team is from what I believe a majority Volunteer team, they are developing/promising a humongous map, features that blow most large games story-lines out of the water in terms of length and detail and it's all being done on what I gather is a rather small budget. I'd love to see a game like this succeed, but with it's progress and all it intends to deliver it makes me highly skeptical.

🕵️‍♂️ Always watching, always waiting.

Considering the donations they get, if this entire project bombs, Wigman Games is going to have hell to pay.

I'll eat my hat if this game ever sees the light of day.

3 years in development, $73,000 donated, not a single gameplay video - just some animation tests that any 13 y/o with a few spare hours could learn to create.

I am almost certain this project is a long running scam for donations.

The funny thing is you only have their word to go on in reference to how much they have gotten in donations. Other non-shadier projects will use Kickstarter or IndieGoGo, and you can pretty much trust the totals coming from a third party. The donation thing is on their site so they can edit the number to be whatever they please.

They do post developer diaries on their Youtube, some of which do show us what they're working on and doing development wise, but part of me wonders if what we see in the video is the only work they do.  I will bow down and put something in my signature for a long time if Police 10-13 actually comes out.

The game is so far off from development. They don't have enough funding(they never met their goals) and are looking at investors. But the investors want a tech demo. It won't be released for at least 1 1/2 to 2 years. It's a shame. I'd love a game like that.. but that developing team is not big enough or capable enough to do something like this. I just wish they'd get picked up be a larger team so it can be done right.

Sadly, I don't think a large developer/publisher will pick it up.   Despite how many people are on this forum and the FB groups, I don't think there is enough demand for a full fledged LEO simulator.  Simulators have become VERY popular, one of which is American Truck Simulator.  Big publishers and developers don't seem to have an interest in tapping this market for a big, properly built and funded game.  It's a shame.
