What do you think should Rockstar GTA V improve on

Featured Replies

Games are usually developed on the Xbox 360. I saw a video tour of Criterion Games Studios a few years ago, they walked into one room with around 300 xboxs, all turned on and running the game they were making (I think it was NFS Hot Pursuit)

Its then adapted and ported to PS3 for the bluray capabilities before the final version is ported to PC.

Hence why if you look hard enough inside IV's files, you can see all the buttons and logos for the sixaxis tutorial.

 • Thats the IV cruiser with a new lightbar. Looks terrible.

 • No mobile phone, please, I don't want to go bowling when I'm being shot by 50 swat! And typing cheats like in SA, without a damn phone number...

 • oh boy....sounds perfect. Nothing's better than a HEMI,great music and a police chase :D

The Vapid Police Cruiser isn't that bad, it's just that it's based off of the 1992-1997 Ford Crown Victoria, and thus, looks very out of place for a video game that's set in the 2010s. Hell, it even looked out of place back in 2007. Now, if GTA IV or GTA V were set in say, 1994 or 1996, then the Vapid Police Cruiser would be just fine.

It's like playing a video game set in the 1970s and watching a Ford Model T drive by.

1. GTA4 took place in 2004.

2. I love the look of the Vapid Police Cruiser. Why does it seem out of place? Because It's so freakin' awesome it doesn't give a shit about it's real life counter-part?

GTA IV takes place in 2008.

More people on the streets & more saturated traffic, gives you the city feeling.

Agree with that, and I think it should be for example in some Blvds, depending from the area and the hour, high amount of traffic, and different traffic speed, in other streets and areas less traffic or speed, in industrial areas almost non traffic.

By other hand, in highways the speed should increase and in some places, and also depending the hour, it should be traffic jams (typical from LA). That could give some strategy at the moment of doing missions, for making it faster or avoiding getting stuck in a traffic jam when running away from police.

Damn I want a new trailer, gameplay, screens, anything official!!!! When will R* break this mystery?

As soon as they stop promoting Max Payne 3.

If they attend E3 this year, I'd expect them to release more info there.

That's why I have a massive traffic/ped spam mod for GTA4. ;)

Ofc it lowers the spam at night. Love it. Hope if 5 is setup like that.

Link pl0x? I tried some mods and they simply do not work for me! :(

Ontopic: Whats the point of this thread? They're not gonna come here like a Santa, take a look and improvise on the suggestions. They've their personal beta-testers to get feedback from.

But,if its just for self-satisfaction,then its actually fine.

things i loved to see:

+ Bring back more Customization options. For the Player Model I want to have the ability to look like a Clown with a Swimsuit and a Bandana :D What i mean is. I want more Clothes and more styles. Why can't i dress like a damn redneck? Ore like a Hippie dude.. well i think you know what i mean. Like in San Andreas. And bring back Barber Shops and the ability to become fat :D And for Cars: bring back tuning. I know this is not Midnight Club but it would not kill R* if they bring back some Tuning options. Other Custom Staff. It would be cool if you could change the Style of your Home. Like in Test Drive Unlimited, but this is not really importent. just a little extra that would be cool.

+ I want to buy Property again. Houses,Businesses,Shops ect. Much like it was in Saints row 2

+ Stop forcing me to go out bowling, darts and god knows what with ingame friends. That was so anoying in GTA4

+ Sidemissions like in GTA San Andreas (Taxi,Police,Medic,FD,ect)

+ Make a more reallistic City Feeling. What i mena is i don't want to be from one part of the city in the other in like 3 Minutes.

a lot of the other stuff that i want was named in that thread befor

Hope they make the people more real like, the cops don't swear every 5 sec when you walk pass them. Get rid of the fat ass cops, people talk more normal. Crime happening in the city, like in SA I think it was if left your car in a bad area some people would get in it and drive off. I know in saints role 2, some times when you walked in on a clothes store it would be getting robbed. Also better physics when a car crashes you can total your car not crash into some thing going 500 mph and able to drive away.

Click that spoiler you will not be disappointed!!

You've been Rick Rolled
I think they should have everything from the original SA plus everything from IV including "ENB" tweaked graphics, although, if the map is the same as SA, the possibilities of having 10-15 PD's or SD's rather then 3, is just awesome.

A massive highway system that travels through Los Santos, suburbs, and the countryside, and hopefully that takes 20 mins to travel on, as well as improved police AI. Just imagine a high speed police chase in the countryside

Sticks and stones may break bones, but 5.56 fragments on impact.
