For real, this game needs proper LAPD vehicles. Thankfully the Police Interceptor Utility is covered by Desmond98, but we still need the CVPI and the Charger.

I think Desmond98 has stopped working on improving the PUI and all other projects unfortunately. I've not seen much in terms of updates in a while 😞 But yeah, LAPD would be wicked awesome. I expected there to be 4 or 5 different packs to choose from, alas...

@Desmond98 is still very active in development! He regularly posts updates on his showroom, mostly RCA stuff.

Totally agreed! It won't get in my head how there can be that many accurate vehicle packs but not a single LAPD or LASD one. The two most fitting departments for the game. Luckily we have the CHP pack but not everyone enjoys not being a streetcop lol. 😜

I was finishing my college, and, today is the last day, i got a best mark for my diploma work, so ill work more on rca and vehicles soon.

Yikes, a year late. Anyways, uh, sorry for budging in: the LAPD tested a handful of Impalas in 2008 or so to see if they were going to be a good choice for a large, urban West Coast city that primarily focuses on roads. Seeing the LAPD kept buying CVPIs until discontinuation, you can tell it didn't leave the public testing stage. I think they're still in the fleet, and as steinberg said, they're likely rare. I don't live in Los Angeles (or the United States), but when I look up "LAPD Impala", I either get (often) the same images of their testing phase Impalas on the street or GTA mods.

Any news on LAPD stuff? I'm thinking especially about the marked LAPD Crown Vic, but I'd love to hear some news about the unmarked unit as well.

Small ones kinda. Besides my personal life I am modding a bit, improving some stuff and remodeling a lot stuff since I want to go lower on the polys. I also create some LODs for the parts that don't have them. I saw a lot of models getting released with just "LODS" that basically were just polycrunched L0 models that still were highpoly so, about as bad as just having no lods. So yea doing some stuff, but not that much that I can process so fast, but I'm trying.

Sorry to everybody that I don't really update you guys on the stuff and also sorry that I don't release the stuff, I'm just not happy with the models at the moment.

A small hint on the current stuff, I am working on a setting up a new Arjent S2 with a Fed Sig ALPR for a special car with now accurate equipment 😉

Sadly not, due to my private life I really have not that much time for being at my computer to do these projects.

I'm not even sure if I got the files anymore since most of them broke when my hard drive had an issue 😞
