Dear God did 3.1 live up to the hype. It's fantastic. But my question now is, since you guys didn't include it in your announcements and changelogs, are the new motor units vehicles not included in the current wanted system (i.e. there but to be implemented in future wanted system mechanics, like the K9 units)?

There is now a female SAHP motor officer (two peds, as with the male officer), but nothing else was released. The Hakuchou needs some work at the very least before much progress will be made there, AFAIK.

  • Howdy, I suppose this will be a kind of a dev diary for 3.1. As NefariousBonne has said some time ago, 3.1 will mainly be a content update, introducing new car and ped models, as well as improving e

Be aware, default sirensettings values have changed, so lighting may not work correctly for replaced vehicles.

Do you mean carvariations and other stuff related? In fact I found out they have their own carvariations and vehicles.meta files in the update.rpf folder.

@NefariousBonne I am getting a problem here, the xml files that come with RDE (arrest manager and whatever) are not there. Any way to get that working?

If you're also talking about BetterEMS, I just used the one from RDE 3.0.1 and it worked just as well

Yeah my backup.xml didn't install correctly but it's in the .oiv file so just open it with WinRAR or 7zip and it should be in there

Can somebody please give me a list of all vehicles that are included in RDE?

Thank you.

Please check about a few pages back, there's a list there somewhere.

As for everyone having issues with certain configs and xmls not being replaced, attached to this post is a .7z file that has them all in it, taken directly from my source files.

Uh, just using Microsoft edge to download, it's my default browser, the real question should be what internet service provider; Virgin Media in fact.

There is a trainer config included in RDE that has the added vehicles in it. Additionally, you could open up the vehicle archives in OpenIV by going to mods>update>update.rpf>x64>rde OR rdefbi OR rdeemergency >vehicles.rpf

EDIT: actually, the list posted a few pages back lists all the vehicles under their model name, which is what you need for spawning them

If you're having problems with the XML Configs not working, just put it in manually. You can do this by opening the OIV as an WinRAR pr 7zip (I believe) folder and the XMl's you chose will be in there and ready to be used

Or, you can just grab all the configs from my post above.

That too, also by any chance do you know the default way the OIV Files are opens, I screwed up and they are now forced open by winRAR

Open up OpenIV, click tools at the top then select the package installer, and I think that'll just let you select the OIV file to install.

Alright let me give it a shot

Works now, thanks for the advice!
