hello for starters sorry if this isn't the right section, but GTA 5 just updated to v757 and like past updates i keep a backup of the current launcher.exe and update.rpf so after the update i can go back to the previous version in which all the mods work till RHP gets updated but this time RSSC keeps saying theres an error 16 and it needs to be updated and ive never had this issue before.. is there any way i can play gta 5 without RSSC so i can keep using lspdfr and my other mods?? also i have the steam version of the game. and it does work if i go back to my stock backup of the game but not the modded one running the lower version :( thanks

k i did not see that on their site so sooorry *sarcasm* and secondly how do i keep future updates from messing up my game? and last question is there any way to play the game without RSSC??

If you've successfully reverted to GTA v678 and are getting Error Code 16 from Social Club, you just need to uninstall Social Club, and install the version for GTA 678 that can be downloaded from Rockstar here: http://patches.rockstargames.com/prod/socialclub/Social-Club-v1.1.7.8-Setup.exe

will this work with v617? thats the version im trying to revert too.

This might be a dumb question but I did revert back to the 678 and I am getting that code 16 error signing in....Where do you go to uninstall social club because when I launch the 178.exe it wont run because the 195 patch or whatever is found and overrides it. I'm sure I am not the only one with that question

Do you know how to "Not Install it"? I've read through the AVOID: Update forums, and not sure how to do this with just blocking the update through my firewall. I also edited my commandline.txt. Any suggestions??  I have a FULL copy of my GTA V main directory stored away on a separate drive (pre patch).

I do. Do you know why? Because it's been repeated, over, and over, and over and over and over everytime someone asked. Search for it, make some effort instead of wanting to be spoonfed all the time.

actually that was rude, and dont u think I've tried that? Why do u think i posted this? this isn't my first time on forms and moding stuff, i deal with alot on xda with android and i alway search before posting but this is besides the point thanks for ur help (as little as it was tho)

I can backup to this version just fine, perhaps it has something to do with the files itself?

it raped my social club however

I'm not sure, but I think it should. I don't remember getting this social club error in the last few updates, so I *think* the social club version was the same for a while. If it doesn't work, you might just need to do some googling to find out what version of social club came before that one.

I just went into Control Panel -> Uninstall A Program... from memory it had the full name, ie "Rockstar Games Social Club".

fireems68023 Did you get yours working? I was able to roll back my game version, got the social club error, downloaded 1.1.7.8 (I uninstalled the current social club), and am now back up with all my mods. I hope this worked for you, and PM me if you need help.

ok and is there a way to backup the newest version of social club? the only reason I'm asking is so i can update once RHP gets updated to be compatible with the recent update.

Not sure, worst case with steam you should be able to verify local game files and have it restore everything.
