Yes it does work.  There is an extra step though, you will need to downgrade the Social Club version... check the reply right above you.

actually that was rude, and dont u think I've tried that? Why do u think i posted this? this isn't my first time on forms and moding stuff, i deal with alot on xda with android and i alway search before posting but this is besides the point thanks for ur help (as little as it was tho)

I'm so late on this, but if anyone still checks this anymore, I tried doing this with today, when the Finance and Felony update released. I followed all the instructions, but I got something I haven't seen anyone else mention here. When I launch GTA V through RAGE Plugin Hook, steam, or GTA5.exe I get the same error when the launcher comes up. It says: 
"Social Club failed to load due to an incomplete installation (code 16). Please exit the game and re-install the latest version of the Social Club: https://support.rockstargames.com/hc/en-us/articles/204075496" I followed the link and followed the instructions there as well. I uninstalled Social Club in multiple locations (every location I could find with the Social Club uninstall tool), reinstalled the latest version, and I still get the same error. I couldn't think of any other methods, so I decided to see if anyone realized a stupid error I am likely making. Any help would be appreciated.

Depends entirely on the complexity of the new patch and the time available to the devs.
Typically it's been within a few days at most. But as always, it's done when it's done. Closing this thread, as the RPH devs use their own website and twitter for announcements you should check those out.

Just wondering, how long does it usually take to develop and launch a new download of Rage plug-in hook that is supported by the new download of GTA V? My back-up of the game didnt work, like many other people... Thanks!

I'm not rude, I'm direct, and pointing at facts. There's this banner, and there's a search bar, and Google.

I do. Do you know why? Because it's been repeated, over, and over, and over and over and over everytime someone asked. Search for it, make some effort instead of wanting to be spoonfed all the time. 

I am utterly sick of gaming these days. You cant even launch a game without being connected to the internet. Heaven forbid I ACCIDENTALLY launch my game connected to the internet, rockstar forces me to redownload the "update" from their servers which doesnt fucking work! I have to take my PC to a friends house so he can download grand theft auto from steam and mesh them together with my CD version just so I can play the game again because Rockstar has incompetent servers. PLUS I lose each and every mod I have. If I had known gaming has come to this I wouldn't have invested thousands of dollars in a new computer. I suppose the days of installing a game and being able to play it are gone.

How nice would it be to have a bike like that in GTA V :)
