Taser

Featured Replies

Alright so this was the 3rd time I reinstalled LCPD:FR with the LCPDFR taser checked, but still I can't use it in game, and instead I get this kind of big black thing on the belt of my character. Any idea what I might be doing wrong? Since I usually hate installers, what I do is not install it on the game's folder, but to a different folder.

I forgot to mention that I use 0.95 RC2, and also is there any other way of mapping the speeches and getting rid of the irritating gun hold animation key? I'm using ELS, and my primary lights are numpad 7, advisors are numpad 4, so everytime I try to turn on the lights, I get a get out of the car slowly or some other random speech lol.

Can anyone confirm that it won't change weapons.img or vehicles.img?

...

The Taser replaces the amb_nailgun files in the weapons.img file and copys the old amb_nailgun files to your game's root folder as a backup. It will not overwrite the weapons.img file, it adds it just like when using SparkIV/OpenIV.

You are using the WRONG right theme!

Ah thanks Sniper.

Anyway I did check the ini file, and I can't remove the weapon hold animation, nor the pull over speeches. I'm using 0.95 RC2. This is the ini file:

Butting in here quite late, but I wanted to have my cop model's Taser on his belt. But it doesn't work. I did Sgt. Kanyo's idea and went to the .ini file and changed it to true. However when I go to save it I have to overwrite the file and then it says Access is denied.

Any help?

you can save it to a different location, and drag and drop to the scripts folder, just means your computers's files dont like being messed with. lengthy way to change the setting, but i'll post a video on it in a bit
