@Batrob77 ok I installed the car (love it by the way) everything worked right off the bat, so my solution is to install albos MODDING folder for addons and replacements it makes it easier to replace cars and with some coaching editing the meta files are easy too I could message you some steps but albo'S thing is pretty through.

I'm a newbie so I hope this is not a dumb question. First of all, great work @Hystery! This tutorial helped me a lot. But I have a problem. I can't find the 'police' slot in any patchday. I double checked every patchday, but I can't find it.

Doesn't matter much. You can just install the car you want to replace the police slot with in the latest patchday and it'll replace the original, vanilla one automatically. Just make sure to rename the car you want by police, same with any other side file.

There's truly no need for an auto mod to install them, as it's not that difficult.  If you plan to fully mod out your game, you need to know what you're doing and not rely on automation.

 

As per your issue, make sure you install the car files in the latest patchday that has a vehicles.rpf.

Require help in regards to adding liveries to the police4 unmarked cruiser. I have added FLAG_HAS LIVERY to the vehicle.meta file, i have not touched the carvariation.meta file(as I cant locate it and wouldnt know what to do with it), i have added the new livery, yet the livery is not showing up. What am I doing wrong, or not doing.

 

Your help would be appreciated.

Hey there.  The carvariations for vanilla vehicles are hard coded in, not that it'd matter in this case, as carvariations don't affect liveries.  Are you100% positive the vehicle supports multi liveries?  If it's  POLICESCO model, it will not support them.

I was looking for slicktop cvpi to add a stealth livery to. We have a few of them here in canada. Has to be els enabled.
