When it comes to the rear of rescue trucks, what is on the back?

It depends. Some (many) have a large roll-up door on the back or several steps that lead to the top of the truck where more equipment can be stored, but some of the larger rescue trucks have a door where firefighters can walk-in and sit down on a bench style seat while they respond. It varies.

I will take these into account! Thank you!

Yes Sir! Pretty much. Typically, the rescues have a lot of lights on the back such as scene lighting and LEDs with a roll-up door in the middle.

Ok sweet. Lol. Lighting though has been my one struggle. I'll get it though.

I made the model as seen in the pictures in 4 hours, it's not perfect but I'm working on it. Will be making lore friendly and hopefully real life models of this.

I am sure it will be fine. I have seen your work as well as you already have this one off to a great start.

Thank you for the kind words

Heavy rescue looks aweeesome! Looking forward to seeing how that develops.

Are you still planning to make changes to the rambulance? I'm waiting to make a skin pack for it until we see if the lighting can be touched up a bit. I know the lighting is challenging - thanks for your hard work!

Rescue truck will go great with this guy's ↑ EMS mod!

For the back side, the LAFD urban search and rescues look kind of unique.  Many of the heavy rescues I've seen around the country have some kind of slot or cabinet in the middle, with chevron striping on the sides, like these:

The all-red USAR rig has a walk-in door on the side because it doubles as a command vehicle. Something to consider once you start building interior components and the compartments too. It also has some really odd roof items, leftmost vehicle here:

Both vehicles share the same purpose, except the older USAR rig is pure equipment, while the newer one doubles as a mobile command rig. Depends really on what kind of rig you want to do, or if you wanna do both.

There exists a video tour of the vehicle, and LAFD's station 27.

A little odd thing about these vehicles is that they have deployable spotlights. A video from my own non GTA mod project

This isnt GTAV, but I thought all of the research for my own stuff will help you in getting this vehicle right.
