That isn't NY traffic. that only happens at times square and even then that isn't all the time.

Well I like NYC traffic, and wouldn't mind it all over the city. Alderney can stay as it is, if that's possible. I love having hundreds of taxis and a few cars clog the streets with tons of people walking all over and having to weave in and out of traffic slowly to get to a call. I'm not being sarcastic, is there a way to get that?

Is there a change I can make to the folders? I'm doing a fresh reinstall right now, but I remember when looking through the files, there was something that changed how many cars show up in an area.

That's what I have now. I mean actual TS traffic, bumper to bumper, not going faster than, say, 5mph.

Well popcycle.dat is responsible for controlling ... the population cycle! It's found in /common/data, this is what "More Liberty" and the like edit so you could have a look at it. :smile:

Have you tried the mod called "More Liberty?" As mrcharga3000 said above, it is a modified popcycle.dat file that adds an extreme amount of peds and vehicles into the game's traffic. I've looked through it...at certain lines, it is set to spawn 1000+ peds at certain locations O_O...though I've tried it and it doesn't work well if you have Traffic Flow and ELS installed. Those mods will cause less cars to be spawned, as well as increase the likelyhood of a crash by 99.99%. So if you want to try this mod, make sure you don't use Traffic Flow and ELS.

I forgot about that, trying it now.

I use Real Traffic, it seems to work better than More Liberty for me. If you put the traffic density up to 100 and use this mod, you will get bumper to bumper traffic.

I might look into that now as well.

I advice you to NOT add that amount of Traffic. I did it with TrafficLoad, and edited the TrafficLoad.ini by adding tons of traffic. By doing that, the traffic truly showed me it isn't made for that much traffic. On Highways and merge lanes it will annoy the most, because when traffic tries to merge on to the highway traffic comes, and they will wait. Then you get a heck of a traffic Jam, who won't move, even though they can!

And in town this will annoy a lot too.
