LCPDFR Roleplay Multiplayer (Recruiting)

Featured Replies

So I've been active with the LCPDFR Mod now for a while, I absolutely love it.

(In fact, It's the best mod I have ever had for a game. Thankyou G17 Media)

===========================================================

I've fixed/upgraded my computer and runs the game amazingly, the next step is to have a serious group of members, I'm looking for around 6 to 8 members max.

Why? Because It's an ideal size for communication which I feel will make the roleplay experience better.

================================================================================

If you would like to join you must have the following:

  • Completely clean version of GTA4 with No other mods besides LCPDFR, and/or the DAS Mod
  • You must be available for voice chat on Skype
  • Car mods are Not allowed at all

===============================================================================================

This is copy and pasted from another thread because the guidelines were pretty well written and thought out. (Edited) Make sure you read these.

Patroling

Use the unit number assigned to you by the DAS mod. (If using)

You can choose any cop model apart from any van/truck or FBI Buffalo. Eg: No SWAT van

Keep to the rules of the road

Report in if your pulling over a vehicle on Skype, Example: Pulling Over A Suspect Because [Reason]

=========

Responding

Try to keep to a safe speed when responding and be aware of the AI pulling out from side turnings

Stick on the correct side of the road

Slow down slightly at red lights, checking for any traffic before continuing

Request backup by asking a member in the Skype Conference or If no one is there the default police backup.

=====

Pursuits

Drive carefully while tailing the suspect

Don't perform any dangerous manuevers such as a ram or P.I.T on a crowded street or road, wait until a clear stretch of road is reached

If a suspect becomes too eratic while driving a P.I.T or Ram manuever can be initiated given the circumstances above

Notify other units of your intentions, communitcation is the key to avoid smashing into eachother.. For example: I'm going in for a [MANUEVER / ACTION], be aware

If a pursuit is approaching you in the opposite direction, don't ram into them head on, wait for them to pass then turn around and catch up

If a chase Is getting too dangerous, lethal force can be authorized as long as you have good reasons, and alert other units In the conference

Keep the Skype Call channel clear so that players involved can communicate clearly. Eg: No music playing (Headphones)

==========

General Things

You can respond to LCPDFR callouts

You can ask for backup on any of these callouts

Default LCPD Vehicles will be used.

Use realistic police weapons.. (I.e: no RPGS)

Update other players

Do not spawn objects / Peds / Bodyguards with SNT

ELS is Banned.

Skype Is required If you're on the server

Just use the simple response system in DAS when in a urgent situation instead of typing (If using)

============

Officers

Can respond to back up calls from other officers in the same island

Can respond to callouts on the island

Must have a white police car (default)

Why do you want Voicechat on Skype? We have a TS with several Multiplayer channels.

Because I want a small team, plus for me TeamSpeak never works properly :-/

You've basically taken everything from my official MP group.

Could you please re-do it?

At least put it into your own words.

Sorry, but it was pretty much everything I wanted on a server, I did edit it though If that helps? :/

Yeah I really think that skype is pretty poor when you've got a TS server available.

Well Teamspeak is always online when the site is aswell. So I doN't see where your "Teamspeak problems" are.

Yes I did read your original post, however I still don't see the point in why you would use skype which is for VOIP calling when you have a TS server ready which is designed for what you want to do.

Either way, good luck with your clan.

Why: I want to pursue a career in law enforcement and I want to play this mod with a serious multiplayer community.

I also have team speak.

I'd be interested as well. I see the reason you want to use Skype, and I understand it, but I also see the reasoning behind using TS. However, either way would be good.

I've been involved with GTA IV police roleplay groups for years, but it has always been on the XBOX. I'm interested in being part of a solid community, with mature members who want to have fun, and play realistically.

Why: I am an experienced player within the GTA series. I did play in Multi-Theft auto on a Roleplay server and did reach Commander / Assistant chief, so if you want an experienced player.. Hello.
