Sad..Sad..sad.. :l, bullying hurts MOTH*R F*CKER :p

Had a rather sad example of bullying just last week when we arrested a 23 year old cannabis dealer. When I first saw him, I couldn't believe he was a dealer. He was just a normal young man, no different than me. He immediately confessed everything in the interrogation and literally broke down in tears in front of us. Turns out he was severly bullied all his life, even to the extent of being forced to certain sexual acts by some jerk.

He did commit a serious crime, no doubt about that and he will be punished, but I think the dealing was just a cry for attention. It definitely wasn't for the money, seeing he lived with his parents in a giant mansion. He didn't have anyone to talk to. His super rich parents were never there and at school, he was always bullied. While we were searching his room, his father didn't even ask how his son was doing.

I can only assume that the drug dealing scene made him feel accepted, part of a certain community, where people listened to him.

Hopefully, the psychological counseling will keep him from further dealing or doing the same thing as this poor girl.

  • I too know the cruel reality of bulling. One of the main bullies was this big ass fat kid, so one day, he went too far and insulted my family. I was around 10 I think, so I wasn't big or anythin

I'm sure I speak for most of us here when I say that we've all been through it. I'm not particularly sure about the others on the team, but I got my fair share of bullying in school. As cliché as it may sound, just believe in yourself, don't change who you are and don't let it go unnoticed. The worst thing you can do is let things like this get to you, you just need to be strong and be proud of who you are. Hell, you can be pretty certain that in a few years time the idiots who do the bullying aren't going to be very proud of who they are and the circumstances they find themselves in.

sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me

Honestly, verbal abuse should just be ignored. Thats the best way to deal with it. If it ever got physical, I'd call the police.

That's the sort of thing that's really easy to say when you're not in the situation. However, these are teenagers, and they may not realize that there are many people who want to help them out. Instead, they may think that there is no way out of the bullying.

I was in that situation. I was constantly picked on for not being a Christian in my school. I can't tell you how many names I was called during that time. I never let it affect me though.

I hate it when those old memories come back to haunt me.

It might sound unusual but I was bullied in highschool only,i.e. the last two years of my schooling.

School's most beautiful girl lived near my house and she used to stick to me for some unknown reason while we went to school.Local gang leaders were jealous of me because of that.I was bullied by them for a good one and a half years--it was when I decided I had enough and I warned them referring to the local police. That was it.Threat neutralized. It was later only that I discovered that the girl loved me too.But they came back.Probably, they heard from sources that I proposed the girl and we're in relationship.Something happened that day.Something which I don't think I'd like to share.Though, one of my classmates escaped the near death situation. That too, when he wasn't involved in any of this.Too much complications! I'm glad I'm breathing today.

wow :'( tht jjust kept givin me goosebumps, we've probably all been bullied before, i know i was alot in middle and high school. they are just insecure and jealous ppl the only way they feel better about themselfs is by pulling over people down thats a fact iv seen it..its unfortunate that this happened to her and this was her way out, R.I.P. Kayla. best wishes to her family. she was beautiful and looked like a nice girl, what a shame what people can make others do. i hope these bullies got like arrested or something. put them to death i bet they havent stopped eather :/ theres always people to try to help you. on the bridge near my house there are alot of suicides. people park on it and jump. me bein a firefighter/emt i go and try to help. sometimes they can be talked down the cops have had to taze a few but they just want to be heard and helped. the police and friends are always there even if teachers or family or whoever doesnt listen to you. im forwarding this video

Well, to be honest with everyone, this community is more like a family, most treat everyone with a certain respect, that is why i come here and browse through the forum's when i am not working, i personally don't hang out with anyone, just my dog and the woman :D, mainly because the people i have hung out with have proved to be either mooches (alway's asking for stuff) , druggies (not my thing anymore) people that drink everyday of the week (don't drink either) scrapper's (did that WAY too much through school, so, don't do that either), the result of how i am today, could be the end result of bullying..

Yeah i agree with you 100% although my problems never became physical as Dhruv was saying lcpdfr feels like a big first responders family to me something we all have in common and im only in the 8th grade so i still have 4 years of HS to go through

Hahah!

I don't wish anyone else gets into the same situation as me.It was actually...the "Extremities" of bullying which I went through; not just verbal abuse. The conclusion is,which LTA--sorry MTA says,"See something? Say something."

What's sad is it happens on the internet too.. A friend of mine had her nudes leaked and she was getting stalked by him over the internet.. Kept contacting her from new skypes, e-mails, etc...

@David, i would never put my girlfriend in a position to be worried whether or not naked photo's of her would be posted, some demented bastard's out there..

I can agree with that, we just have the occasional problem child that has to be dealt with now and then.

So sad. R.I.P.

there are lot of bully victims out there who have committed suicide. Bullying is not limited to few countries or region it takes its Toll everywhere. Recently i watched a Hollywood Investigator documentary on Bullying by Fox Crime Asia and by watching that i came to know about one thing for sure "School authorities are doing NOTHING to curb bullying. Thats theTruth! They only put up rules and regulations but dont really enforce them".

I was never a victim of bullying but i have seen a lot of them and i know one thing for sure instead of suffering alone or resolving it by violence people should talk to their elders take help from counsellors and that really helps.

Sameer, I was bullyed when I was in school and I talked to my parents and they were at the school every week, meeting with the staff. I was told to write everything down which happened which was verbal, violent and over the internet. The staff did nothing. In the end I flipped my lid and gave a kid the biggest black eye I have ever seen.

It took that one punch to end 3 years of bullying. Now I'm not saying that violence is always the best way to go about these situations and I'm very against it. But sometimes it can be the only way to fix things.

I've been bullied almost all my childhood. I was the kind of guy who never says anithing..i just ignoird it..but that did not really work at all. Sure from outside you look ok but deep inside you are angry as hell. when i was about 17 i just had enough and exploded. I took a stone and puches one of my bullies.the one that calls me all that names for all that years. the guy that made me almost give up. i punched him right in the face..over and over and over again..i just wanted him to...shut up you know? I was in a rage..it took 3 grown men to make me stop. The guy went to hospital..people told me afterwords the thought i would punch that guy to death. But fortunately 2 teachers and the Janitor get me of him. I'm really not a violent guy..not at all..as a matter of fact that was the first fight i ever had. And i'm not proud of it at all...but i just couldn't helpd my self.. my teachers did'nt give a damn about me...the fat guy who never says anything...I told my dad about being bullied...he just told me "that's your business" and on that day i just had enough..

what i want to say is that sometimes to ignore bullies dosen't really help at all. it can eat you up without even knowing it...and one day you do something you may regret...now at the age of 20 i would never ever let a bully get in my head..because it can destroy you.. and ignore it isn't always the best way..sometimes you just need to make a stand

I agree... i have tried ignoring when i was bullied it but eventually it stops working... its very sad that people want to kill themselves over something like this. It is even worse when teachers and staff don't help sometimes even if it becomes violent
