In such case, can I downgrade to EUP 7.4 (including the menu)? Do you have any link of it?

I do not. However, when you installed RDE, did you use a software to make the .oiv file? Or did you install addons through other .oiv's? Because if the RDE version is old, I would try to install the newest one, 3.0.1

It works fine, there is no issue with clipping, you just can't get how Multiplayer peds works, even without EUP you'll get clipping skin if you selected an incompatible upper skin with your top, I can

I think modding is too much for you, you should go back to GTA online.

  • I've noticed that the same types of questions are coming up and that the FAQ is in need of an update. So I decided to do just that. @Alex_Ashfold if you could put this on the main post that'd be aweso

I have RDE 3.0.1 installed with WoV and Sheriff add-ons, via .oiv file. But I can't understand how and why RDE affects EUP. I didn't get any error when I installed the 7.4 version (and RDE 3.0.1 was already installed).

Just go ahead and install the oiv will uninstall previous version for you.

I did as you suggested, and when I start the game it says that EUP LEO 7.5 isn't installed. That doesn't look normal.

Furthermore, in the download page, some guys said that EUP 7.5 isn't compatible with RDE (look at the last comments). So I think you should make a separate version for the ones who have RDE (like me, for example).

I run EUP with RDE, but it took aprox a day to figure out the WoV solution. Without WoV, I had the excact same issue as you do now.

There is a big difference in the installation method now, which I think is the reason for the conflict. What's weird is that your game isn't working.

Do you have alot of other modifications in your mods folder?

Most of the mods are callouts. Beyond RDE, the other mods are Map Editor, Open Interior, ELS, Menyoo, North Yankton map, Ambiance, Native Trainer, Bodyguard Menu, Skin Control, Traffic Spawner and Open Camera V. Plus, WoV is installed as add-on in my RDE 3.0.1. I think you should make a separate version for RDE users.

I had an issue where I couldn't start my game with rde. There is a link on the rde page that links to an updated gameconfig file. Try replacing your gameconfig file.

Firstly one would have to figure out what excactly causes RDE and EUP to conflict in some peoples gamefiles.

A new RDE version with a new installation method isn't far away though, so that might now happend. Of course, in the days we're in right now everything is uncertain.

That's not the same issue, I'm afraid.

Did they update it right now?

Anyone else find a way to fix the crashing during loadup?

I even went and made a completely clean install and it still just crashes after installing both packs. Also tried to manual install, still crashes on loadup.

Gotta keep it knockin' like a work boot in a dryer.

I do not have RDE installed and a very limited mods folder. After attempting both the manual and automatic installers, as well as the new eup menu plugin, After attempting to load eup menu in the RPH console, I too receive and error that EUP 7.5 Law and Order is not installed.

I have found a package error in the manual installation. The directory packaged is update.rpf>x64>eup... it's supposed to be update.rpf>x64>dlcpacls>eup.  I used windows explorer instead of openiv to move the folder into the proper spot in the directory. As I have a clean install of RDE, it would not place the damn thing in with openiv. I hope I'm being clear enough, if anybody needs further clarifaction or can explain it better let me know, I am very tired atm. I also made sure I had the world of variety checked on rde, and manually had to put in the line <Item>dlcpacks:\eup\</Item> in the dlclist.xml file.

I'm using the second latest version of gta v right now, as I usually wait for everything to get updated, maybe you can revert your game to the last version.

I thought they updated RDE, but actually it's still 3.0.1.

I just tested EUP 7.5 on the stock version of GTA V, only with callouts, interior mods, Menyoo, Map Editor and other plugins except RDE, (so I didn't install it in the "Mods" folder) and it worked smoothly. Actually, the vanilla things were the vehicles, peds and buildings (although I guess I would have worked even if I replaced some uniforms, vehicles, etc.). The only thing as plugin that wasn't put in is RDE. So I can confirm that the problem is the incompatibility with RDE.

I ran the same test.  I even back up the folder.  Installed RDE after words.  With eup not working.  I then reinstall eup still no luck.  Deleted the mods folder restore the back all worked.

I even rebuild rde before installing it.  Installing only the core rde progarms with the Emergency, sheriff and fbi back.

SO I just rebuilt rde to only install the core program.  I ran the game still saying eup not installed. even thought I installed it again after installing rde.

I then remove the rde scripts and tried again.  Still no go.   So it appears to be something in basic rde install.

If there is just to change one or few files to make them compatible each other? So we can solve the problem by a simpler way, and don't have to do all this mess.

Next version of RDE will be 100% compatible.

If the readme says to put in update/update.rpf>x64>eup then that means this is where it goes, like I wrote in the readme and the mod page the installation location changed. So there is no ''error'' it's all normal. Please follow the instructions accordingly.

There's no error. That's how it's supposed to be. EUP has a different install location in order to get around the 48 DLC limit. You should not be editing your dlclist.xml.

If you're manually installing, please read the included readme.

I didn't realize that's the way it supposed to be. I was just sharing how I got it to work with RDE until RDE is updated.

Given the fact that my modded version of GTA V currently uses RDE, I want to revert to EUP 7.4. Prior to download EUP 7.5, I backed up EUP 7.4, including the Menu, although there's a file from EUP 7.4 Menu, Preset.ini, which I didn't back up. If anyone of you could send it to me (here or in private), even just the text content written here, you'll do me a favor. Thanks in advance.
