Kelford got a reaction from Royal Jay in Spawned police5 unit - No engine soundAs a matter of fact I was inspired by this post to try adding on cars to my game, and I just ran into the same issue and applied your fix. Thanks Mate.

Kelford reacted to 656Thor in LPSDFR 0.51 First Response.dll CrashingHello! I have read in numerous places that this is quite common w/ LSPDFR, especially when multiple mods have been installed. A quick fix to the issue is to reload the plugins using the F4 key. Simply press the key and type "reload", then the "reloadplugins" option should appear.

Kelford reacted to Royal Jay in Spawned police5 unit - No engine soundSo I followed this tutorial:
on how to add additional police cars and for the most part it worked, I was able to add a dodge charger to police5 slot, which I created and ELS worked. Unfortunately, the car has no sound, the sirens work but the engine is mute. Does this have something to do with the default carvariations.meta I used which was provided? Thank You
Edit: So I feel really stupid asking a question I just answered. I went back into the vehicle.meta to search around and see if I messed up. Technically, I did everything correct however I did overlook one aspect. Creating a new unit called police5 was fine, but I was also calling the game to load <audioNameHash> </> for police5, of course none existed thus the car's engine was mute. I resolved this issue by replacing it with audioNameHash>police2</audioNameHash> so I was able to duplicate police2 engine sound and now everything works fine. So sorry about this pointless topic now.

Kelford got a reaction fromDeactivated Memberin LSPDFR 0.3 - Now ReleasedIf it weren't for the lspdfr community, Myself personally, would not have bought the GTA V for the computer. I have been playing it since day one on Xbox 360, and then on Xbox One, the vanilla game has gotten old. The point I was trying to make, is Rockstar is greedy, and tries to make it so we can't do anything to the game. I understand from a business stand point why they are, the way they are. But on a personal level, I enjoy modding. I have bought plenty shark cards, and paid for three copies of there game. I do not want to give them any more money.

Kelford reacted to SquootDoot in How to Change ELS Light Colors?Hello, I was wondering (as the title says) how to change the colors of ELS lights. I have changed the required data in the VCF, but I haven't done the actual texture editing since I last played LCPD:FR (over a year) and I would much rather go into it knowing exactly how, rather than fumbling about and potentially messing up a vehicle's textures. Thanks!
EDIT: I meant this for GTA V, not IV.

Kelford reacted to Wippy in LSPDFR 0.3 - Now ReleasedTrue. Gtaforums are full of threads about singleplayer updates\DLCs and other speculations. Rockstars know that, but they make easy cash with Online, so it's all about money, and they will not support singleplayer except making patches and such stuff.
Hell, I'm tired of those updates. They give me nothing but headache. I have to update my stuff and recreate some mods just to make my game work as before. And I would be OK with it if those updates gave me something new in terms of gameplay or didn't break mods at least. So I stopped playing LSPDFR 1.5-2 months ago because of constant crashes after Bikers update, though I never had any gamebreaking problems with LSPFR or RPH before.
Screw Rockstar, screw their Online crap, I will not buy their games again.

Kelford reacted to Cyan in Download Portal NewsWe're not exactly low on space, we just have no interest in keeping a feature that doesn't work. If $100 isn't a lot of money to you, feel free to push the donate button at the top of the site!
This change is mostly a database change. We'll have an additional update to the code shortly that will fix this issue.
