Zmodeler3 Oleg has given us a locking option

"All of said above still applies: the "locked" model can still be converted with other tools and (later, when available) exported into open formats via OpenIV."

Sooooo they're still not REAAAALLLY locked......let's be honest.

I'm sure this is the same as Zmodeler 2 and GTAIV, most of the community will give up after it wont import but then some will do anything to break through that "protection". you can't fully protect ANYTHING digital.

Hoping that we will still allow releases here despite this locked option.
Let's be honest, what most people here want is simply to use these models so yeah, that would only prevent us to enjoy these
(even though all we would have to do is to go on another website).

The same guy from GTAForums.

I would think so.  If people want to lock models when they export them, that's their choice.

Certainly it is something we're discussing internally, but as of now there are no plans to introduce rules against locked models.

"You tell me exactly what you want, and I will very carefully explain to you why it cannot be."

So will this be the end of all the rather childish behavior thats been happening over the last few weeks?

Probably not.
