I've seen youtubers play LSPDFR with working CVPI's, but yet none of them have been released.

So my question is, when will we a police Crown Vic released for GTA 5?

Unfortunately most modelers who have a CVPI model won't be releasing their work until a lock button/method is released for Zmodeler, so every Crown Vic you see for GTA 5 is private. Whether or not a lock button is up to the people who handle zmod but if it doesn't then the chances of seeing a CVPI is slim.

Oh, I see. I read somewhere that zmodeler was not going to support a lock method, but I might have misunderstood it.

Anyways it's sad to hear that such methods are needed to protect their work.

It's anybody's guess at this stage. I hope they come soon.

Zmodeler has no plans on a lock method, that is correct. so whether or not users want to upload their work then it's up to them. However i am sure someone will share their work unlocked for other people. So we'll have to wait and see what happens in the next couple months.

The worst is that apparently, even the old locking thing was far from being effective.
Sure you couldn't just drag the file back in Zmodeler, but it was possible to get around it, and apparently
it would also be the same for GTAV. So.. waiting for a lock thing that will only be placebo? Err..

Just because of the locking function dose not mean everything is going to be private just wait a couple week or months and one will be released i also believe bxbugs123 might be releasing a few of his models. also you might even find one on GTA5 modding site just wanna point that out.

After looking the comments on the yca-re's aventador model on gta5-mods, we know that he is working on the cv police version!

Those cvpis were stollen from ironic by officerunderwood and some other low life. The didnt make the original model.

They won't get released because the modelers are too dense to understand that 99% of people who want their model want it to USE and play with, not to change the color and call it their own.

I have to say, this is one of the most toxic modding communities I've seen thus far when it comes to models.

                 Here's my reply to everyone who asks this question. Take a step back. Look at both sides of the picture that you're obviously fighting on one side for your own gains. You, yourself, didn't take the time to make/convert/scratch/or map these models that they have. Take into consideration the amount of time they give to make things like this. I remember in GTA:SA when everyone respected one anothers work, didn't copyright, and gave proper credits. You all are being ridiculous. You are acting like you are entitled to something that clearly is and never was yours. If everyone keeps asking like the way they have been, you are just going to eventually piss someone off and it will never be released. The way that I see it and have read it, there is going to be no addition of a lock option for Zmodeler3. There was a mention of a "No import Feature" but whether that was a joke for everyone complaining or an actual thought, no one will know until something actually happens. So, give all the modders that supply YOU with mods and such for FREE on their own time, a freaking break. 

 

                   In lighter words, LAY OFF of the modelers on when they are going to release any vehicle. I'm sure they have the same thoughts as I do when I say, if you want it that bad, LEARN how to do it yourself and you'll realize their concerns. None of this is meant in a hateful, mean, or derogatory way by any means, I'm just trying to get you all to open your eyes and drift away from the tunnel vision that you all got when you saw the first picture or video of a crown vic. Personally, I flipped out when i saw it, but just please realize that they have their own concerns, they are not being selfish, they are being realistic because its what the modding community has turned into. Not saying everyone steals or rips other work but it happens more now or, no one gives credits anymore. If you take nothing from this book that I've written, take this. Just see the picture from their side, think of the amount of work they do for us for free, stop being so childish over is and just be patient. All good things come with time.

Certainly not true, Code Zero gaming (The ones mainly using this car) are using an alpha model converted to V by Fighting note originally by Frank.

Ahh, sorry they had copied and pasted credits for all their CVPI videos so I figured it was the same as it linked to the same credits (That picture)
