  • Here are the fact's. ELS V is being made by Lt.Caine with help, support & testing from Me(Bxbugs123 & PoliceWag) no one else is testing it at this time. The CVPI is this video is by Me(Bxb

  • If you can successfully manage to go this route rather than the extras, would this mean that all vehicle models currently released would automatically be compatible with ELS? Also would we have to use

When we feel ready to make a update on our progress we will use this thread unless Lt.Caine makes his own. Patience is the key. Don't build your hopes up for an update everyday.

GravelRoadCop, I was wondering, will we be able to trigger manually the "warning" tones that play if you switch on and then immediately switch off the siren in the "vanilla" (Non-ELS) game? And by manual I mean, each individually, the one of our choice.

Not everyday, but the last video I'm aware of was from the 14th of October from Police Wag. We'll all wait, patiently at that, but a video update since then would be good, seeing as that was three months ago. Simply because in the last video the AI didn't respond to the lights and sirens. That's all

Three months? Damn. Feels longer than that. Curse my impatience!

With the ELS system, the operator will be able to use all four siren slots available in the game, which are Wail, Yelp, Police Priority and Ambulance Priority, along with the air horn. The sirens will respond quickly and sensitively and when you have a tone activated, the air horn will override the tone when pressed down. Also, the siren tones will remain activated when you exit the vehicle during pursuits, which makes the game play more exciting and it gets your adrenaline pumping. This system is vastly improved over the original game siren system.

You can finally do this now :

I understand your point of view. Needless to say, I personally don't feel comfortable releasing a game play footage of using ELS in it's current state because i don't want to be rubbing the program in everyone's faces and be teasing them. Also, I am not authorized to make my ELS videos public unless Lt.Caine tells me otherwise. So when Lt.Caine and our ELS testing team feel confident to show the current version, we will post one, but until then you'll have to rely on Police Wag's video of the older ELS system he showcased.

I can assure everyone that Lt.Caine is making stronger steady strides with the ELS program now and has been able to check a few things off his list but still have a long way to go. I can't go in details on this but it is promising :)

This is all I can say for a while now. Thank you for your understanding !

This happened for me with ELS IV. I think it was a bug though, because whenever I forgot to switch off my siren before leaving the vehicle, once I got back in if I tried to switch it off it would just play another siren tone over the first one. The only solution was to set a marker in the ocean, teleport there while in the car, then teleport back without it. It won't be like that in ELS V, right? If I forget to switch off my siren while getting out, it'll still be able to switch off when I get back in?

Yes you will be able to switch it off. I never encountered this problem while using ELS V.

What you think gta Lighting system is better how it's so fake and generic looking the lights flash so slow and the bloom looks fake you have no control over different flash patterns that look like real life police flash patterns and gta lighting system is limited in what modders can do with their cars and light setup and the only problem with all the cars being mostly els cars was back in gta iv when the game was unstable and didn't like mods and some people couldn't have els that would crash their game but with gta v it's a lot more stable then what gta iv was and in gta iv when els 8 came out it made gta iv alot more stable so i know the els team is making gta v els way better that's it is more stable and more features than gta iv els had

I'm out of breath from reading that lol

Thing is, if you want ELS, fine. Be respectful of those who do not want it. However, for those who do not want it be respectful of those who do. If you do not like ELS and worried about models being ELS capable, then get into modding and make non-ELS vehicles. I as a modder am not bound to make ELS or non-ELS. Modders do what they want. I will make non ELS and ELS vehicles.

Don't mess with the law, if you can't handle the law.

True. I myself will use els. But I feel like there will be a very good mix of els, and non els vehicles because of the vanilla lighting. It is loads better than gta iv vanilla police lights

Cant wait for ELS i wonder if the siren sound is going to be controlled like GTA4. It will be just read Gravel Road Cop its going to be  sweet worth the wait
