Another great feature about this latest version is that for the very first time ( if I remember correctly ) ELS V will have it's own "SCAN" pattern that cycles through all available pattern. The scan pattern is actually the last pattern + 1. So if the last pattern is 140, then scan is 141. This allows the user to go in full force while responding code 3, cycling through all light patterns to harness attention from drivers ahead of you.

Are we going to be able to customize our own patterns? That would be so cool...like an ini. File...i know it should not be easy but thats just an idea...i know that there are a bunch of patterns but adding that function will make els even better...letting us to change every pattern to our wish.

I cant wait . It looks so good :)

I think lightpatterns has to be written/scripted and this fact won't make it easy so realise user defined patterns.. But I'm not 100% sure about it

yes i know that patterns need to be written/scripted.....but there are many mods that have ini. file ....and you can configure a lot of features....so maybe....iam not saying its possible....but maybe it can be possible and it will be a great feature. but all takes work and effort...so as iam not the one coding ima just asking :D

If it was in ELS for IV, it'll be in ELS for V.

Emergency Lighting System V by @Lt.Caine

CVPI - Bxbugs123 High Speed Designs

Release Date : Not confirmed

This video demonstrates one of the newest addition to ELS : LED Hide-A-Way system and headlight flashers.

IMPORTANT!

Please be advised that the ELS depicted in the video is far from the finished product and people should not expect final quality of the program and treat it only as a minor sneak peak + a chance to help us make the ELS better by providing feedback. The video is not meant to be a teaser, or to evoke high hopes from the members on the forum, and the audience, but rather to help you understand where the program currently stands right now, and how far we have left to go in order to deem it as a finished product.

The testers have opened access to the alpha version of the program for testing purposes only and want supporters to be able to see what they are supporting. Playing the alpha might be frustrating and tedious due to the bugs and work-in-progress content. There will be BUGS ! This is important because we do not want viewers to think they are seeing the final product when we are still just in alpha development

Emergency Lighting System V by @Lt.Caine

ELS CVPI - @Bxbugs123

Release Date : Not confirmed

This video demonstrates two of the newest additions to ELS : Hands-Free Siren and Pattern Scan Operation.

With safety as our goal, ELS V offers two very important features that is designed to enhance driver safety on the road :

"Hands-Free" mode

Keep both hands on the wheel, both eyes on the road, and you're still in full control of ELS sirens. No more eyes off the road while fumbling for the siren control with one hand ! Turn On/Off and access all four siren tones in 1 click.

"Pattern-Scan" mode

Respond with emphasis on the road, this activates all available flash patterns in a cycle. Let drivers know where you are.

Lastly, do not ask for a release date. It will be announced when it's ready.

How is pulling people over going to work in combination with LSPDFR? Contrary to LCPDFR, LSPDFR requires you to actually use your lights and sirens using the default siren activation button. Will the ELS lights and sirens be recognised by LSPDFR?

Yes, it will work using ELS. Air horn, siren manual tone, any activation of siren utilized by ELS will make them pull over.

Just to confirm: I'm talking about traffic stops, not traffic giving way.

I know. ELS sirens will trigger drivers to pull over on your command when using LCPDFR pullover command, or at the very least it is in the build that I was given to test out.
