Well if you're on GTAV 1.0.678.1 you should also be on the latest version of RagePluginHook which happens to be(RAGE Plugin Hook - Open Alpha - 0.38.886.6940) 

0.36 is an outdated version of RagePluginHook that comes bundled with the LSPDFR 0.3.1 download. The developers of LSPDFR don't keep up with RagePluginHook updates. so every time people download it, they will be on RPH 0.36 and they would have to go to the site below and update it..

Here is the link if you need the latest version of RPH http://ragepluginhook.net/Downloads.aspx (the latest version of RPH is always at the top of the downloads list)

Wilderness Callouts v0.5.2 is
  -Compiled against RAGEPluginHook 0.37.  (However 0.37 is no longer available for download, but that doesn't matter, you always want to be on the latest versions of anything or you have a potential to run into problems.. So if you need to update to RPH 0.38 just click that link above..

Can I run ragehook 0.38 on GTA version 678 or do I have to update GTA to the latest version to run ragehook 0.38

Why not just update everything? And the latest version of GTA is v678 as far as I know.

Your free to do whatever you want bud. If it works for you and it makes you happy, so be it.. I'm not here to tell you that you must be on this or that version, I will leave that up to the developers to say those things. I will say that I'm running 1.0.678.1 and RPH 38 perfectly fine :thumbsup:

I'm having problems with the helicopter camera. Every other feature works except thermal and night vision. I hit the keys, hear the activation sound, but it still stays in the regular old view, with no thermal or night vision filter.

Do the tbermal and night vision work when using the binoculars?

They do not. It seems to be a problem in the files or game settings, because even when I turn on thermal or night vision with a lua script, or my trainer, it flicks on for half a second, then turns off.  I've tried multiple trainers with it.

I can't help you, I have no idea what can be causing that, post your issue in the GTA V support section, maybe someone knows a fix.

So, I've tested it for some time, here are my thoughts. Plugin is good in general, but some callouts are meh and\or need improvements:

1. Rocks blocking the road. Haul truck comes, cleans the road and sometimes goes away (I've got 2 or 3 situations when that truck-man just stayed on the road forever after cleaning. Also people try to ram those rocks instead of waiting and\or trying to find another way to pass through. My suggestion is using the same method used in other plugins for putting barriers (Traffic Policer IIRC) which prevent people to ram them. Maybe I just got bugs, idk.

2. Demonstration. Weird as f*ck. All three demonstrations i've got were a big mess. Once I chose "waiting for further actions", then all the people just tried to kill me and other officers as well. The fact we (officers) were armed to teeth or got pistols atleast and those guys were with bats, knives and other melee stuff doesn't matter at all, people just died under fire, nobody tried to flee. It was like a mass suicide. Just stay and shoot at people. Then I chose "use the smoke grenades" with the same result. My suggestion is implementing fleeing behaviour to avoid such weird actions from peds when shots fired and\or 3 or 4 people are dead.

3. Suicide attempt. Good callout, no bugs\weird stuff encountered yet, but I just suggest to add some more outcomes\lines to it.

Hello Alex.

I just finished to kill all attackers and I was walking around to check everything and wait for next phase of the callout (which I don't know). Then the crash happened.

OK, thanks. Btw, the next phase should be end it by pressing the End key, you can call the coroner or the EMS before ending it if you want. Also, does it happen always?

It would be nice if the helicopter medics went to all dead bodies in the area instead of just one. Same with the vet.

Would it be possible to remove the stop traffic function? Sometimes I need EMS or backup units and they can't get there because the demonstration & attacked police station callouts block traffic from moving. It would also be nice if the barriers actually stopped cars when the mod doesn't stop traffic... (Similar to Police Radio) and lastly, the swat units on the attacked police station callout attack my guards and police partner (darkmyre's mod)

 

These little things make the demonstration & attacked police station callouts no fun to do... Other than that the mod is great.

Hello everyone,

 

I just downloaded the Wildnerness Callout packs and I can't wait to use it! It seems I'm able to access and use the Wildnerness Callouts menu, get it's ambient events BUT I do not get it's callouts. Could someone help me troubleshoot?
