LSPDFR crashes when I check fishing/hunting license of ped. Do you have any idea what is causing this? I'm on ragehook 0.38 and nothing else is wrong with the mod.

Not really sure why that happens but for some reason it can't load the id card model, you either are missing the model "hei_prop_hei_id_bank" or it took to long to load the model, restart your computer and try again.

When using the helicopter camera which is simply awesome how do you zoom in and out while flying?

The only way I can get the camera to zoom in is by lowering the helicopter closer to the ground.

Is there a button for the camera to zoom in and out.

Keyboard+Mouse:

  • Move camera with the mouse
  • The same keys as the binoculars to activate thermal and night vision
  • Shift+W zoom in
  • Shift+S zoom out

Controller:

  • Move camera with right analog stick
  • Thermal and night vision with X and B
  • A+Right Thumb zoom in.
  • A+Left Thumb zom out.

No problem buddy! glad I could help and I agree the camera is fun.. :thumbsup: Personally I would love to see a Callout where something like this could be used.. Instead of doing ground policing, maybe callouts for air police patrols, like locating people or high speed chase. Where you communicate with ground units..Stuff like that

I'm right there with you. I hope someone comes up with that and that would be awesome.

Coastal Callouts will have at least one mission requiring some tactical helicopter usage. It's a long ways out yet, but I'm excited to bring some new game play mechanisms to callouts!

That is why I have you on Stalker, er I mean Follow :thumbsup: I can't wait to try this.. When you get into the testing stages and need other testers, message me. I enjoy doing testing for people.

I just tried using all of these controls both on keyboard and controller to zoom in and zoom out the helicopter camera without having to lower it but none work.

i have version 0.5.1 installed. Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

hmm strange. I pulled this from the ReadMe File that comes with Wilderness Callouts

 

How to Use: Helicopter Camera
-----------------------------
-While in a helicopter, toggle with LControlKey + U
-Movement with mouse or controller right stick
-Zoom with mouse wheel or controller button A + controller right/left triggers
-Toggle night vision with NumPad9 or controller button B
-Toggle thermal vision with NumPad3 or controller button X
-Scan pedestrians/vehicles with E or controller button Y
 

I'll message the developer, I didn't see anything in the .ini file to change the settings either.. The last set of directions I pulled from the last conversation with the developer on the camera controls. I don't use the keyboard much and I don't know how your buttons on your controller are mapped.. It works for me.. I'll shoot him a message.

When I use shift+w and shift+s all this does is lower the helicopter or make it go higher.

i tried the controller buttons and nothing works. I changed the thermal, night vision and camera activation buttons in the ini file and they are working fine.

Its just the camera won't zoomin or outunlesd the helicopter lowers it goes up

Which version of wilderness callouts did you get this ini file from?

That isn't from the .ini it's from the ReadMe that comes with extracting the Zip file of Wilderness Callouts. Also Wilderness Callouts is on version 0.5.2

  -Added ambient events, currently: Someone hunting and public intoxication. You activate the blips in the .ini file.
  -Added and interaction menu to ask for the hunting license, the fishing license, call an air ambulance and call a vet(LControl + O by default to open it).
  -Removed hot-keys for call a vet and call an air ambulance, use the Interaction menu instead.
  -Vehicles created in the callouts have the possiblity of been tuned.
  -Minor improvents/bugfixes in all the callouts.
  -Added a RAGEPluginHook correct version check system(thanks to Albo1125 for this, minimum version needed 0.28)
  -Removed the need of alexguirre.Common.dll
