Where do you spawn? Do you have modded vehicles? Do you use ELS? What is your favorite area to patrol? What other mods do you use with LCPDFR? Tell me how you like to play LCPDFR. I would like to hear some peoples game play style.

1) I use to drive to the police station to start a shift but now I just do "force duty" and spawn a police character and car with SNT. I have every police station saved in SNT as a teleport location if I want to move around quickly.

2) Yes I use modded vehicles, Police = Slicktop CVPI, Pol2 = CVPI w/Whelen Justice, Noose = Charger w/Whelen Justice, FBI = CVPI w/Tomar Blade, PolPatriot = BxBugs newly released 2010 Unmarked Tahoe. <Favorite car ATM

3) I love ELS, I think it makes the game experience so much more enjoyable. I've never played w/o it and never will. No damage and the door bug is alright with me.

4) I prefer to patrol Algonquin and Dukes/Broker. Depends on what I'm wanting to do also, ie arrest prostitutes, speeders.

5) Advanced car control mod, lots of texture changes to vehicles/character models, Sams Area Livery mod, gun flashlight mod, less overtake, radar mod.

I play hardcore mode, when someone flees I don't like having a dot showing where they are. I think it takes away the realism and adds some difficulty so you have to watch where they go and drive more cautious so you don't crash and lose them. I like to patrol around at night, sit and try and catch speeders, traffic violations, equipment violations. Go unmarked and arrest guys who pick up hookers. Sometimes I'll accept calls but not to often. I just like to respond to a shots fired call or shoot-out in progress call once and awhile. "Suspects fleeing" is a fun call to.

I drive to the nearest station in a personal vehicle, park up, save it and lock the doors with SNT before heading inside. I'm using the crime city script so criminals will attempt to steal parked cars.

As far as car mods go, I patrol in policefanatics crown vic with whatever skin ive recently made which at the moment is the CHP.

I hardly respond to callouts because that crime city script keeps me busy. I stick to traffic duties

I've also got a realistic peds and traffic mod, so the roads are jam packed full of cars, I like to patrol dark run down areas at night, it's terribly dark due to a time cycle mod. Having only my headlights as a source of light down a empty road is epic

Of course I use ELS, I used to play without it, and I can never go back. It just makes all the difference. Depending on what I really feel like doing, I might take a marked car out and get in some chases, go to callouts (which I actually enjoy), or just cruise around and catch traffic violators. Sometimes I'll take out an unmarked or slicktop and freeze it at nighttime, use the radar mod, and stick to traffic & parking enforcement.

You have to use a modded police car with ELS enabled for it to work properly.

Its recommended not to mod Police 1 and Police 2, but you still can, It shouldn't crash unless you have a system with low system specs, Its recommended to mod other vehicles like Noose and FBI.

I play in hardcore mode. I patrol pretty much everywhere except ALQ as it's boring for me. I mostly use State Trooper skin and patrol everywhere. I like catching speeders with DashCam. If I choose to respond to calls, I use mp5 and pistol. I don't respond to suicide attempt and easy calls, it's mostly shots fired, suspects fleeing and sometimes drug deal.

Of course I use ELS. My favorite patrol car is either unmarked CVPI or my custom CVPI with modded textures.

I use to use criminal acts but I noticed I had far fewer random crashes without it.

Personally I like to take on the role of the vehicle and player skin that I pick. If i pick my FIB livery charger i'll either play with state troopers or FIB and patrol the airport and conduct vehicle/ped searches, if I play as NOOSE i'll use my tahoe and respond primarily to shootouts, if I pick my highway patrol livery I'll usually set up a speed trap and only respond to other traffic violations and suspects fleeing calls, if I pick my armoured sheriff ped I'll jump in my sheriff's charger and patrol a wide area etc. etc.

It's that kind of 'department realism' that keeps it interesting for me.

Yup, that's the one. Its very stable.

A car pulls up with two occupants, the passenger gets out and steals the parked car, both speed off, ignoring the road rules.

If you aim at the passenger, he pulls out a M4 and starts firing at you.

I've also seen:

• A ped walk right past me holding a pistol
  
• Two wannabe car thief's get into a shootout with other gang members
  
• Police cars chase after a suspect vehicle (Not the world event, this is totally different)
  

Really does enhance your gameplay. I would advise going into the .ini and changing the value to 10 or lower. Mines on 25, I've parked a car up and shot about three car's of people in the space of five minutes as it'll keep spawning them for a while, they even stole a police cruiser from a station.

Interesting Topic.

I used to play with ELS, but since it crashed my game all 10 minutes, I returned to the default cars with the normal lights. My favorite areas to patrol are Broker, Bohan and sometimes Southern Algonquin. I use two other mods; the indicator mod and Less Overtake. I'm playing in Hardcore Mod and my favorite callouts are Drug deal, shootout, shots fired and armed suspects fleeing.

I tend to play as realistic as possible. This means I make up scenarios as well, most of the time by using SNT. I do vehicle patrol as well as foot patrol. You'd be surprized what you come across with if you patrol on foot, for example in the subway. My daytime patrols, with the occasional coffee break, are usually in Algonquin while my night patrols are in the Broker and Bohan area. All of my vehicles are ELS, except police.wtd. This greatly reduces the crashes for me. Like in real life, I only respond code 3 when necessary and when I do so, I follow real code 3 response guidelines like slowing down at red lights and only overtaking on the left.

It all depends on my mood, really.

-Traffic: catch speeders, traffic stops, speed traps with dashcam, highway patrol with state strooper, direct traffic using SNT,...

-NOOSE: force shootout calls, gang related violence,...

-Narcotics squad: force drug deals, arrest junkies, drug related traffic stops,...

-Vice: hookers, pimps,...

-FBI/US marshall: make up scenarios to arrest wanted felons, gather intelligence,...

-Gruppe sechs: money transfers (with SNT), Airport patrol,...

-Other: prisoner transfers, VIP escort,... (also with SNT)

I also enjoy playing as a firefighter or a paramedic now and then. Again, SNT is a very handy tool here to create fires and accident scenes.

Mods/tools I use: ELS vehicles, area livery mod, police computer system (), some modded weapons, Indicator mod, Realistic driving and flying, SNT, ENB,...

I always drive to nearest police station and the area I patrol varies. I recently tried hardcore and it has really increased the fun. Especially in car chases when you have lost sight and are just following the AI cars. Responding to call outs is not a priority. Domestic violence has gone rampant and most of the time I cant be bothered.

The car i use at the moment is the Caprice. Still looking for a 1968 Ford Galaxy 500. I don't use ELS as my game tends to crash a lot more frequent with it enabled. My weapon of choice is the 44 magnum.

Other mods I use are texture and graphic mods; HD roads by DKT70, Inject MSAA by mrhaandi, Reality IV 1.62,a Trees mod and all of ZBNYNC's Reality Mods.

I am definatly going to try out the crime city script as it sounds like a lot of fun.

I find it funny that, GTA4 is the same all around, except with mods. Some players games can run some mods fine, others can't. Silly ol' GTA.
