LSPDFR Feature Preview

All you hare doing is creating additional pressure on the staff to do a rush job.  Its cancer.  It spreads to others, and makes the forums toxic, makes the admins work harder to keep it clean - and is just in general a poor way to represent yourself.  Everyone really wants to play, I get it.  Not even going to lie, I bought V on PC for LSPDFR and mainly the mods, but if you look at the time table for GTA IV vs GTA V in terms of over all mods being released, and things that can be done... we are moving way faster then we did in IV.

How is it going fin im glad your on I have a question dont know if I should ask you here but I have installed rage hook started it by the exe but when I get in game f4 dont work should I remove the simple native trainer and script hook v

  • Guys, come on, we all know that isn't a real countdown.  You just used a trainer for it!

  • The anticipation is killing me.  Preparations going well so far, however...

  • ... Kind of speechless that people are getting this demanding for something that is being pretty much created as a hobby result from a few very skilled coders.  We are looking at weeks, not months til

I kind of feel sorry for Dehan...All that work and then ALL will migrate to LSPDFR! - (Dehan probably will as well ;)

He already said that his mod was made just as an alternative until LSPDFR is not released, indeed that was a great job and we had a small taste of a police mod in GTAV.

My favorite part is how now we can select which response for backup we want. It be cool if the code 2 backup can back you up on Traffic stops and wait till it's over.

Yeah, that would be brilliant!, although we'll have to wait and see...we might have a few surprises" ;)

I think you could have left cancer out of this... but i dont think there being pressured. I just got my hopes and then they got let down its what happens when you post things like that

Cancer isn't only applied to the situation of a human body deterioration ... it can be applied to many things - so lets not take it out of context.  We in the Army often apply it to people that have the ability to drag down or alter the mentality of others in a negative manner.

You have VERY little idea of how much pressure, even if its a enjoyable hobby, is attached to doing something like this (making a large scale mod, for a large scale community.).  I think perhaps they should put a disclaimer on any updates they release in the future.  "Warning : by viewing and or reading these updates, we are not to be held liable for your hopes or dreams being crushed."  Lets stay positive, on and off the internet, and when we see that download button we will know its time.

Additional verbiage about cancer :

"a practice or phenomenon perceived to be evil or destructive and hard to contain or eradicate."

Help my channel grow and I can explain to my wife why this addiction to coding is a good thing!

People, it's just a game, chill. The developers have jobs, real life jobs, jobs that pay the bills. They do this as a hobby, which means it isn't the main priority in their life. Second, I'd rather wait three months for a stable mod then one day for a unstable and quite buggy mod. If you'll all relax, good things will come, just chill out, seriously though.

Liberty City, a place where the medics are more lethal than the murderers

You know who uses release dates? Rockstar. And I'm sure we all know how well that went for them. I'd rather have a "coming soon" than a set date because anything could happen to push that date back and I would be a lot more upset having a set date pushed back. That being said I am so stoked for this mod. First thing in doing is grabbing some coffee, calling code 3 backup, and arresting the first innocent I see.

I guess that saying goes " good things will come to those who wait " - but im very impatient D;

@ineseri - Have you played the first release yet or are you waiting for it just like we are?

Secondly, if you've played it, can you say whether the A.I. have been improved when you call for a traffic stop? - I always thought the traffic stops in LCPDFR were a little abrupt, and sometimes the car you were pulling over was a bit too agressive.

Any information would be appreciated! ;)

I don't think he got his hands on it yet. If he did, you is probably supposed not to talk. :P

I used to write script mods for 3 different game servers back when playing counter strike source. When you released something with bugs and problems to a community it'll make soooooo much pressure and stress for you then to hurry and fix it for everyone. Even though I'm excited for all the new features and how "grand" gta will be after release of LSPDFR I can't say enough how glad I am they are putting so much effort into a bugless release. Thanks guys sooo much for the mod, LCPDFR was second to none, I know LSPD is gonna blow me away.

Well, i thought it would be the same as a leading developers communication...

However, if @ineseri hasn't been given the release, then it goes without saying he can't give information. What could happen on here is a question & answer session - Those who have played the release, or even @Sam himself to create a Pre-release synopsis of what is included?

THE HYPE TRAIN WOULD PROBABLY DE-RAIL THEN!!! LOL :D

That new backup system is interesting; I don't think it was even implemented in LCPDFR. am i right?

So if you request a code 2 assisstent they'll silently  roll in? that's amazing.

I wonder if in future you could command officers to change formation, or rush and  surround the suspect like in blacklist series (Has anybody seen it?) It's not superb but it has some good FBI action.

Ya, this ability to call different levels of back-up is really awesome, and if they are as intelligent as said, this will be quite fun. One major issue i had with playing single player with this mod in GTA 4 was that it seemed so unrealistic to be chasing some dangerous dude all by myself, and if i called back-up, it was just a huge freaken mess, and unrealistic as they were shooting all over the place.

With the release of the first version of LSPDFR almost imminent, we've put together a preview detailing the large variety of features that it will be packing.

In terms of actual detail, this is by far the most comprehensive look at LSPDFR yet, and we hope that it will go some way in answering the many questions we receive about what will, and will not, be in the first release of the modification.

You can take a look at this brand new preview over on the official LSPDFR page at http://www.lspdfr.com

Thanks man.
