I personally like the default map too. Besides, modding the map is borderline copyright infringement (Not sure about that, I read somewhere that Rockstar won't allow map mods. Can anyone confirm?) and a big hassle. Not worth it to me

​Thing is, people have been able to import maps from Multiplayer into singleplayer (like the aircraft carrier and heist locations), so I assume it wouldn't be a long stretch before someone manages it. Maybe the guy who made the open all interiors mod will try it.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I meant add things to the map. I hope that OpenInteriors will open all the interiors (Pun intended) in GTA 5 someday. But adding stuff would be next to impossible

For me it would be perfect fine if they hold back the Release until R* releases thier Update. 

It would be terrible if we got an early LSPDFR and could play it for only one or two day's until it gets broken on purpose.

​For GTA 5? Don't think so. Replacing the entire GTA 5 map would take months to complete. There are ten's of thousands if not hundred's of thousands of textures for the GTA 5 map. Besides, I meant big changes. Not a couple of texture edits. Something like a new building at the least

In the mean time, enjoy Police Mod 1.0c by dehan. It might not be much but the dev has worked hard on it and i have made several videos on it and I find it quite fun.

​I agree; definitely not much and still kind of buggy, it can be very enjoyable with the Carjack mod and especially the Farnsworth's GTA mod, which basically amps up the general crime level. Obviously none of this replaces LSPDFR, but almost enough to hold you over until then.

Honestly when it comes to map mods for V, I would love to see a small suburban city. Just an average town with maybe a slightly bigger downtown and the rest being small-large residential areas and commercial areas. The big city stuff is cool, but so would a smaller suburb city.

Also I'd have to redownload GTA 4 and I have a bandwidth cap so I don't know if it's worth it if LSPDFR might be coming out in a couple days

If I had to choose between waiting for LSPDFR and playing LCPDFR, I'd choose to wait for LSPDFR. Apparently the waiting is almost over, and will be so much better than LCPDFR. It seems that the dev team is very confident in LSPDFR, and I trust them on their claims
