LS PARAMEDIC[WIP] (EMS / Paramedic / First Responder Mod)

Hey guys.  Got started on making a mod... didn't really know what I was making at first but just wanted to learn the new APIs...

The result is something I figured I would share, this was about after 5 hours of coding and so forth - I'm still trying to get used to the RageHook in itself.  Either way, enjoy the sneak-peak of LS PARAMEDIC.  I'll be trying to keep this thread updated, but feel free to track it on YouTube.

Strange that they put that detailed of an animation in the game and never used it (as far as I can tell). It seems like it was meant for a specific purpose, like it was supposed to appear in a scripted event, based on how detailed it is (like how he signals bystanders to back up - people don't really crowd bodies that much to warrant that).

Yeah, that is one beautiful animation. I wish there was something like that we could use in LSPDFR, or just a mod which gives us a chance of reviving a downed ped. He looks so determined to save the person, it would be great if your partner was downed, yelling for people to get back, motioning for them to move back, then carefully helping him up even he's alive

It's definitely a lifeguard animation. Large crowds almost always gather around a lifeguard resuscitating an unconscious person.

It looks like it was a scrapped mini-game. The animation library name starts with mini@ -- same as golf and darts minigame animations. Inside are animations for idle positions (the medic does not push his hands down) and the reviving animation is a single push-down, just looped, so you can push down when pressing a button. There are also success and fail animations. All of the animations are included in my own paramedic mod hosted on gta5-mods.com

I was thinking of making a mod that brings back this minigame with scaleforms. Maybe some day.

Honestly... what its listed as in a mini-game animation... Lmfao.  As for the first part of it, its a "intro" for everyone to step back.  In future updates I plan to grab peds around the vic and make them start to crowd.  If none are around - I'll most likely look for another intro animation that blends well and skip that long intro one itself.

I'm having a good bit of fun toying around so far with V tho.
