​That's not what I meant; Michael has two police outfits- SAHP and LSPD. The LSPD one is a beta which probably was abandoned during development, so it looks different compared to the normal cops. Like this:

 

​If the uniforms are mapped in the same way, you could just simply transfer the textures over. :)

It's not mapped the same way to that of the current LSPD cops, the mapping is more similar to that of the Highway cops.

As of yet, Is there any way to remove the 3d badge from the police uniform? I'd like to texture my own on, and having two badges on the same shirt looks ugly.

​Unless you mess around with the .META files of the peds, it'll probably be a while before we discover how to do that. Incidentally, I kind of like the badge system- it means that the insignia are a lot more detailed and at a higher resolution than if they were on the shirt texture.

​I know, but the badge that I want is a vastly different shape than any in game, so I can't just put a new texture over the in game badge. Oh well.

I made a simple Highway Patrol car based of off the LS Sheriff Dept. cruiser.

​Where did you find the .ytd for the side of the car? The "police, police2, police3, etc.." doesn't contain the "police" decal that you removed from the side or the paint scheme at all so I'm a little confused.

It's been done. It's called "Texture Toolkit". There are a lot of new mods already, I plan on making quite a few, also. Enjoy!

​You take the .ytd file you want to edit, put it on your desktop or something, start the application, drop down and click load, and select the .ytd you have. Once there, you can browse, import, and export textures. Once done editing, make sure to save what you did. Then you can drag and drop the .ytd back into OpenIV.

You can, but it won't work right due to the way it's UV Mapped.
