Spock has died. A few days a go he went to the hospital with chest pains. After a couple days he died of a heart attack. R.I.P Leonard it truley is the end of an era.

This one hit home for me, and it hit pretty hard. I grew up watching him as spock on star trek. Needless to say, he will be missed.

This is pretty sad too. The local news had a 15 sec segamant about at the end of the news. I think he needs more recogintion than 15 seconds at the end.

Don't smoke. Even though Nimoy quit 30 years ago, it still ended up causing his death.

Where I live they did a lot more than just 15 sec. They first reported it as Breaking News.

Of all the Star Trek actors I have known, Leonard was the most... Human.

 

 

I heard about it a few hours after it happened. I wasn't much of a Star Trek fan, However it occasionally airs here at 3am-4am and i sit down and watch it. Only saw Spock a few times, but he was a great actor. Sadly this is the type of stuff smoking causes (he COD was Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and not of a Heart Attack what the OP stated). This just goes to show that even if you quit smoking a long time ago.. it'll still affect your life in the future. 

 

Not sure if anyone else posted this. But members of the Star Trek Online game gathered on Vulcan to pay their respects to Leonard Nimoy, which shows how much of an impact he made in the TV industry. He surely won't be forgotten!
