I'm Anthony, I'm 16 and have been playing LCPDFR for quite a long time now and I thought it was about time to create a forum profile where I would actually use my knowledge of the mod and help others in their journey through the LCPD. Usually the most "liked" or well composed screenshots are featured, however this all does come down to moderator decision. If a moderator deems an image or file feature worthy, it'll be featured. Unfortunately this of course means that if you take a brilliant shot and a moderator misses it in the gallery, it probably won't be featured.

So you can't post them to like a "feature request" or something? You'll just have to cross your fingers and wait? Also how often do the featured images change? :)

Unfortunately so. Asking for a feature often results in the exact opposite (unless it's for the Facebook page, in which case you can PM ineseri to request your image to be posted).
