I personally have just found out how amazing it is playing with HUD and radar off.  It's so much more fun than with it on.  That combined with hardcore mode makes the game 100x more intense!

 

Having to use the pursuit updates to know where they're going and on what street makes it more difficult too!

I have the HUD off but radar on (partly because I never realized I turned it off). I know where like two streets.

 

Other than that.. I try to drive well, or as best as I can by tapping left and right. I have my car on god mode in SNT because I hate when my car gets damaged, and I almost have a certain phobia of damaged police cars from Captain America..

I play hardcore mode, but I do play with radar on. I am not that great with the directions in the game. 

I tend to boost my siren volume quite a lot so dispatch wouldn't really work for no radar, unfortunately.

 

I play with my keyboard and everything on, since I'm a noob!

I play listening to music since dispatch doesn't...well, dispatch.

i usually play a video from one of the guys on here who has a youtube channel. sounds weird but sometimes they are having a better game than i am..the streets are very quiet sometimes..oddly enough

When I play LCPDFR, I make sure to load my game with lots and lots of car mods. Then I usually get a department that has the worst uniforms imaginable from a far distant country. After that, I hop in my 4k textured 9000 poly squad car and head off for adventures unknown.

I play on a more ironic way. :p But sometimes I also play "real". ^^

HUD/Radar on, Hardcore mode off (mostly because I changed the damage caused by weapons in the weapons.xml, so it's pretty much a one shot death), weapon sounds mod, ELS (even though I jump to non-ELS now and then to have less crashes), and plenty of scripts. Oh, and I play with my keyboard and mouse because playing with a controller sucks when you have so many shortcuts.

 

Other than that I try to be professional, trying not to ram into people and pit them (I wish a script was made to actually made the drivers step out of their cars once you do a succesful pit), trying to respect the traffic laws myself, and all that.

I play without a partner because the guy really is kill-hungry, then it's baton time and I'm assaulted with fists he always starts shooting, traffic goes mad, crushes my car, and I have to drive several miles to Algonquin to repair. 

I play with map & hud on, in hardcore mode. Although I get really stressed an angry when I get shot at a traffic stop and can't get up, only to meet my fate :(

 

I'm kind of a noob when it comes to street-names.
