Therefore, the act of wearing any sort of uniform that resembles that of a Law Enforcement Officer, a badge, a gun on your hip, and a radio with a lapel mic, would immediately constitute as Personating a Peace Officer.

The only time that one should be exempt from that law is if they're a government official, or security guard that is licenced and is carrying out their duties while on shift.

When I stand a good distance away from you or anyone else that is wearing any sort of uniform, and I see a badge, gun, and radio, I am not going to know as the average joe that you're not a Law Enforcement Officer. I'm immediately going to assume you're a police officer.

Ok sir Each state and country have different color uniforms and logo patches. So if you know your state officers uniforms you be able to distinguish between the uniform. Nice try though. Thank you :) For the luck.

:) We'll see. I have a wonderful support system. I don't have a job that takes out taxes, however I am working for someone privately and they pay me out of their pocket. I have money saved up in a personal account. That is why I already stated that uniforms, badges, etc... will come much much later. We must first start off with proper training, discipline, and have the proper mindset. I am only taking dedicated black men and women who are interested in the same mission as I.  I have been experimenting since the death of Trayvon Martin. Also I am a law student online at Virginia College I have an associates degree in Paralegal Studies, and Now perusing a  Bachelors degree in Business Administration.

I know you want to be a cop, I've always wanted to be a police officer, however 3 years ago i sustained a back injury which wasn't major but it also wasn't minor.. i put up with constant pain for 2 years until i went and got it fixed, and even today i can't be a cop because there is a chance i'll tackle a guy and my back will go again. instead i have chosen to go for a Bachelors degree in Criminology to work with the Tasmania Police Forensic Services as a CSI. If i was you, i'd let go of your policing career and get your felony removed from your record so you can actually go out and get a job.

:) Sir If you were really following my post the proper way you would saw that there were many post that instructed me to be beneficial to my community. If I'm paying money out of my own pocket to help the youth of Young African Americans, am I not servicing my community? Next off as a felon It is also nearly impossible for me to get a job(Although I have been applying) I will not sit around and waste my life doing nothing waiting for some employer to stereotype my character much like people on this forum has. Instead I chose to make myself useful to my community. Big deal.

Furthermore, Everything you have said you would do has already been done. I have been doing my homework on this situation for 1 year now. And have contacted local authorities, that have given me information about badges, shoulder mics, Etc..... I have even taken their badge numbers. Well, it's a bit hard for me to understand your way of doing business, but if you already have all the necessary permits its fine. 

 

When I read all you post here a Shomrim organization comes to my mind. It's a Jewish para-police force, they have no police powers but patrol the streets, detain criminals, and notify police. At least they are supposed to do it. Is that how are you planning to organize your group? 

 

Hope you know that Shomrim has pretty tense relations with cops. They need the members to go through certified training, etc, and probably your criminal charge may become an obstacle.

If an investigation was opened to investigate your "militia", the first thing they'd look at is from where the money comes from, and just there you would be charged already. My plan is for police forces and My militia to work together to solve a common problem. I myself will not be wearing a badge or carrying a gun. I am just the master mind behind behind the plan. The who I will recruit are people who will have the ability or capacity to carry a firearm. My uncle is a veteran who qualified marksman in the Army. He can help with the training a physical condition program. Listen the only cops who will have an issue with this are the ones who plan to use African heads for target practice.  But hey our government believes that there is more money in the illness rather than the cure right? How boring would their jobs be If and when I make this happen.

Sir I am really not getting offended by any of your statements. When One is trying to implement the plan I am trying, do you not think they will expect the type of behavior you have shown? You're going to slow down investigations by multiplicating possible witnesses interrogations and ruin crime scenes by your militia's presence (fingerprints and possible clues). As I have stated already The militia is a  community watch militia we are not there to do the jobs of Law enforcement but rather detour crime in the community before cops arrive. Police officers can't be in one place for hours at a time they have to patrol the cities. Our base will be in the ghetto's. We are more like neighborhood watches. Isnt that what your George Zimmerman was? Consider this as simply standing our ground. . :) Good day sir.

AFAIK, Shomrim is also unarmed. It turns out that if you're recruiting people to keep an eye our for crime, the very last thing you want is people thinking they're actually like cops; giving members weapons and having them patrol for crime makes them ore likely to try to stage an armed intervention, which is not a good thing for a neighborhood watch group (keeping in mind that the role of a neighborhood watch group is to provide eyes and ears, not to actually directly stop crime, and yet it's more likely to have the kind of members who want to be cops but aren't qualified for the job).

I have no problems with passing out CC applications; that's just encouraging people to exercise their rights. The problem comes when you try to set up an armed neighborhood watch group; there's a reason those groups tend to say that even members who have firearms licenses can't carry while they're on shift.

I can see what you're trying to do, but, you're definitely taking this the wrong way. I don't think people would feel safe with armed felons roaming the streets "protecting" the neighborhood. Just because you can't become a cop, it doesn't mean to pretend to be one. This is the wrong approach.

Whatever, sooner he's locked up, sooner the troll posts will be gone..
