I came across this while I was doing random cop simulator searches, ofcourse its not due to release untill 2016, by then GTA V will be released soon to follow with a LSPDFR(?) Which I'm hyped about, Unless I missed something recently.

 

Appears the dev's on 10-13 are wanting to release a beta by the end of the year.

Opps, I made a mistake.

The game I saw was  "Police Tactics".

I believe "Police 10-13" was already mentioned on the "Police Tactics" topic.

Yeah, same here. I saw this game a long time ago, like months back when they just had pictures of 3d stuff on their site. Its good to at least see some progress, though. However, they dont have rights to anything theyre using and I doubt they will be able to get them.

So by opening up this thread was probably a bad idea, I also don't think it is allowed to talk about this game if i remember correctly (i read a whole bunch of posts everyday and my memory isn't that great) Jay (now Cyan) posted a topic about it as a warning to members (where that topic is now.. i don't know) however that was posted last year so things may have changed by now.

The creator posted a topic, many people got suspicious that it could be fake (with good reason, as at the time it did look dodgy and there were a few games that turned out to be fakes in the past), the creator got mad because a couple of us (including myself) asked the engine creator,model creator to see if it was legit and weren't taken from the internet.. the game creator (Matt Norman i think his name is) didn't like it and essentially started being completely rude and disrespectful to members of the community (including myself). After that most members of LCPD:FR.com don't like him.. and he doesn't like us.

Due to a number of different reasons, discussions about the Police Simulator 10-13 title were barred for a number of months on the forum. Provided things don't kick off again, you are free to continue discussion about this title.

 

Also, moved to Gaming.

This game. If you've seen the latest videos of it on YouTube, it looks really promising. Definitely not going to be a piece of shit like Enforcer.

 

I just hope they switch out that Charger they've been using to promote the game..

It's just a civilian model with a police livery on it.

I see a whole lot of concept art, models and extremely basic cry-engine gameplay. There's no game. They even changed engine quite far into "development". 

Whew, been a while since this was discussed here.  Honestly I was a skeptic myself to begin with questioning the game's legitimacy.  On the January newsletter it says that Wingman games will soon be operational (actually purchasing equipment and office space) and they will be able to start real work on the game.  Regardless of the turnout, I'm just plain interested on what's going to happen/what the game's going to be like because of all the fuss.

Not only is it a civilian Charger, I also believe that they are using the model without permissions from Chrysler (Dodge). So that creates copyright issues.

I really want this to be a real thing and I want them to be able to deliver on all that they have promised. However evidence (They don't really have a studio yet, the producer dosen't have experience in this field) points to the fact that they likely will not be capable of producing all that they promised in the time frame suggested on the steam page. And if they do manage to produce it on time I suspect it may well look like Enforcer, just shinier. Also matt isn't a nice dude but thats just my opinion
