I really wonder if they'll have cop cars parked on the side of the road instead of speed cameras.

Glad I'm not the only one who watches Squirrel on this forum.

  • SCANDINAVIAN MAP!? WILL THAT MEAN I CAN DRIVE AN 18-WHEELER IN MY BACK YARD!?

Not sure if anyone has seen but they released a 1 hour long gameplay video of American Truck Simulator on the SCS Software YouTube channel. Enjoy!

Noticed it too. Now I want to drive into one and see what happens :)

I think it's going to be the same as in ETS2, crash into it and it will have it's lights blinking and then drive away. you do get fine of $100 I think

I really don't get why SCS split there ressoucres so much. As far as i know, they are working on 3 diffrent projects at this time, ETS2, ATS and their Bus Simulator. No wonder shit takes forever. They should focus on ONE Project at a time. SCS isn't a big Studio. Why deviding man power into 3 diffrent projects? I don't get it. Remember when they said "For American Truck Sim..we will be releasing a 'Starter Pack' with just California..otherwise the game would take too much time and could be released at around 2015" Now we have bloody 2015 and not even that "Basic California Edition" is finished.

I love SCS man. But this is something that i don't understand.

Because they don't want to stop developing Euro Truck Sim 2 and if they didn't split the team we would never (ever) see those other games.

I get the ETS2 thing..but why a bus sim now? they have their hands full with ATS and ETS..why a bus sim now? As much as i love to see that..but when should that be released? 2020? Sorry but i think some serious ressouce managment needs to take place there. I know we all love the games from SCS but for all thats holy...u can not focus on 3-4 projects at the same time with a small studio like that. Otherwise it'll take forever to release stuff. We saw it with the DAF E6, we seeing it with the new Mercedes Actros..and we see it with ATS.

Not as far as i know. The Devs said in an interview with Squirrel (the Youtuber) that they are not gonna pre-release it as an Alpha or anything like that. I mean sure..they'll prolly have some testers but i don't think thats gonna be public
