how can i get the regular variety of vehicles back in single player back as well as fix the taxi glitch or is that not possible?

Are you trying to fix the taxi bug or something else?

If so, Try trafficflow or realtraffic.asi

For taxi bug fixing try RIL Budgeted by NTAuthority, which is the only mod that really worked without problems for me.

Use Traffic Load.  The best functioning of them all imo; uses all 90+ cars and is adjustable and will not bug out your graphics.  You can even adjust the amount of peds with it.

how do i get it to work i put it in the scripts file and only got 2 different kinds of cars........

Just drop the file into your main GTA directory:

 

Mine is C:Program Files (x86)SteamSteamAppscommonGrand Theft Auto IV Episodes from Liberty CityEFLC

 

Then go into the .ini and start dialing in the settings.  I'd keep the settings for cars and peds at 100, and move the ped and traffic density up or down from there.

the difference is that traffic load is wonderful it spawns regular cars like it would normally do in singleplayer without the hassle of only picking 8 cars you get all of them

You're probably referring to Traffic Flow, which only spawns 20-30 cars, can bug out textures, and just isn't the same quality as Traffic Load.

 

Traffic Load loads all 90+ cars, randomly...you don't have to add any vehicles for it to do that.  Also, pump up the PedDenistyMultiplier to 200-250 and see what real NYC streets look like.

If I did that there wouldn't be any civilians left after a pursuit, the sidewalks are my way of beating the traffic

The Trafficflow mod on here works just fine for me, no taxi bugs and i get a wide range of vehicles, i don't even notice i have it installed sometimes.

I use one called realtraffic.asi. It is Chikmaru Real Traffic or something like that. I've tried traffic flow and it was nice but only 20 cars. I'd use 2 of them at once for 40 cars without issue but I was tired of it. Traffic Load hated me and caused texture issues. So now I'm using the real traffic one. I'm going to go test traffic load because I built a new machine.

 

EDIT: That realtraffic one is still the best for variety. Sticking to it.

 

EDIT 2: All of a sudden today with my teams latest mod pack this won't work. No idea why. :(
