I work at my college and get a lot of software information that I share with my fellow students. Autodesk is offering 3 years of any needed software to anyone who is a enrolled college student. THIS MEANS YOU MUST HAVE ACCESS TO A SCHOOL EMAIL!

Yeah I think they've been doing for a while, also includes high school because I got a student thing too.

Everybody knows it.

They've been doing this since at least the last 5 years (when I was a high school freshman, I got software from them; not sure if it was just college students at the time, as my high school had a .edu domain, and a .edu email online is generally enough to qualify you as a college student).

I would have thought so cause a New Zealand one did.

Any recognised student email should work, not just .edu.

And for those of you who wish to exploit this loophole lacking a .edu, or other, email.

It does. http://mail.australia.edu/userhome/signup was one of the sites used to get a free .edu email and exploit this. They have now stopped accepting signups.

When I registered for mine, I actually put "Private, sorry" for the school website. It worked for me.

I've tried to download this so many times and using my student information, but I could never get it to install on my computer. I would keep getting some message ( can't remember at the moment) that would make me keep trying to do it over and over with no success so I just scrapped it. Was anyone else able to install it without any problems? It gave options to download from their auto installer or browser....none worked for me for some reason.

oh yeah, I know that program. Demo is a bit bad for making music if you use the wrong plugins
