Hey EVI,

As for your expedition, could you do an Alaska State Trooper Version? Something like this?

It would be great if you could!!!

EVI,

One thing I've noticed is that the lights on your vehicles tend to be much, much dimmer than on other modeler's vehicles (since they're designed for ENB). Is this just a texture thing, or is it a model thing? If it's a texture thing, is there a way to make them bright?

in the common>data>visualsettings find "otheremissive lights" and there should be a value (one of the first ones) it might be around 80?.. I've changed mine to 800! -Check out my thread in the media section to see what my lights look like!

Hope this helped! If you have any other issues let me know

one thing I noticed about your vehicles with blue lights - one half of the lights will be a slightly different hue of blue.

don't know if its intentional or not, but its very noticeable to me

The thing is, I'd rather not edit my visualsettings to change light intensity if I don't have to. So, if I could modify the light textures in Photoshop to be brighter, that would be nicer.

The textures I supplied in the past have half of the blues a little lighter color. So instead if you want them to be correct, just copy the blue textures and place them over the red. I just did it myself noticed the difference.

I think it's a really stupid thing to -2 EVI because he doesn't notice something :|

Really? Just ask him and he might fix it, but to -2 him? No.

Anyways, I LOVE the new Explorer, it is very nice :)

Wait, so people get negative rep because they haven't noticed something that might be a bug? Huh, and I guess those are exactly the guys who wonder why lot better known modders quit?

Sure, it's not nice to blame a specific user without prove but seeing replys like this... There are other ways to express your opinion than just starting to offend on a very low level.

And no, it's not my intention to say modelers may say everything. I'm tired of seeing insults, no matter if they're from beginners or expert modelers or in some cases even website's staff (I guess most people know what page I'm talking about).

Can't everybody just keep being polite and either enjoy existing mods or create their own?

Now to get back on topic:

@cp702: Try making the texture brighter and increase saturation. Another reason could be the glass, you could try increasing the transparency.

But he might increase only the saturation on the blue patterns

The light bug is caused by placing a light texture over another one. I fixed this by deleting the color I wanted to replace before pasting

wow this derailed quickly

Thanks for the reply. I fixed them all myself, but I didn't know if you noticed the difference...just wanted to point it out. Love your vehicles - use them almost exclusively in my game.

I had one suggestion though, and I PM'd it to you a few months back but I never got a response. Perhaps I could turn it into a commission job. Let me know, I can't get anyone else to touch it. It is really hard to find really good modelers who take suggestions, even if you're willing to give them some love in the form of cash monies.

I have never accepted money and never will. Seeing that I am from Arlington, I'll do the vehicle for you and p.m. the file to you.

Wouldn't it be copyright infringement if you make money off of Ford's (or any car or equipment company anyways) cvpi?

Huzzah! Fellow Arlingtonian!

Also, you have no idea how much I love you right now.

I wouldn't pay him for it, it would be a donation to EVI for being a badass.

a newer ambulance very good
